From the team behind the successful The Vaccine Friendly Plan, a life-changing integrative medicine approach for solving the country’s biggest health crisis—a proven treatment program that addresses the full spectrum of dependency, with specific strategies for alcohol and opioids.
Affecting more than two million people across America, opioid addiction is the greatest public health crisis facing the United States today. While millions struggle with prescription painkillers as well as heroin and fentanyl, many more are hooked on alcohol, sedatives, cigarettes, and even technology. Though our nation is at risk, our approach to solving addiction remains stuck in the past.
The Addiction Spectrum is an extraordinary and revolutionary 12-step recovery program. Acclaimed medical doctor and recovery expert, Dr. Paul Thomas’ proven approach is rooted in functional medicine and offers individual protocols for specific addictions including: alcohol, marijuana, opiates, meth, and screens. Dr. Thomas has treated thousands of patients with the life-saving solutions he provides in this much-needed book.
Addiction isn’t about willpower or blame. It is the result of often devastating circumstances that have gone unchecked by society for far too long. It is a disease that, like many other conditions, exists on a spectrum. No one understands this more than Dr. Thomas, who recovered from alcohol addiction early in his career and went on to found one of the most effective rehabilitation centers for teens and young adults in his hometown of Portland, Oregon. One of the top family doctors and pediatricians in the country, Dr. Thomas is board-certified in both integrative medicine and addiction medicine, specialties that used together have successfully saved the most lives. Addressing the critical lifestyle factors necessary to end addiction and keep you free for the rest of your life, The Addiction Spectrum is the solution so many have been searching for.
