I am SO EXCITED about this book! I started seeing Leslie Langevin as a nutritionist after being tentatively diagnosed with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) a few years ago. At that point, I could only eat chicken, oats, and potatoes without getting sick. She not only helped me strategically add in foods for more flavor and nutrients, she also gave me so much hope! She showed me that even off-limit foods can become available to me in the future by introducing more healing foods first. This is the essence of her book. Having this cookbook has been like a personal Leslie in my kitchen. The first few chapters give detailed information about histamine, mast cells, and the properties in food that can help us heal. I will reference this information often. It also includes helpful checklists, do's and don'ts, and kitchen hacks. The recipes are easy, delicious, well-organized, and offer a wide range and variety. Most importantly, they are filling and help to reduce my symptoms! Most of these already fit my bizarre dietary needs, but the ones that don't are easy to modify. I also like that she explains the benefits of each recipe, so that I can choose what to eat based on how my body feels that day. It has been years since I've been able to follow recipes from a cookbook, and I can't wait to keep exploring! I highly recommend this for anyone with inflammatory, mast cell, or histamine issues, but also to anyone looking to revamp their meals for more taste, color, and nutrition.

Literally a feel good cookbook! I Finally find the perfect book for me, healthy delicious recipes using so many of my favorite veggies and herbs. I am looking forward to cooking these meals for my friends and family! I am hoping that these recipes can help my father who has rheumatoid arthritis.

The Anti-Inflammatory Kitchen Cookbook is an excellent compilation of research and delicious, easy to make recipes. The information in the Foods & Supplements section is very helpful, particularly if you suffer from too much inflammation or histamine intolerance. The tips, notes, tables, and total cook times really help in deciding which recipes to make. I especially love the beautiful photographs that accompany each recipe. A must-have cookbook.
