About the Author

Liam Cadoc has always had a fascination for history and writing, and it was after visiting England several years ago that he was inspired to combine both interests. This is his first attempt at historical fiction and over the years what was originally one book became a two-book set. Thankfully his recent retirement provided Cadoc with the time to complete the writing of book one and to begin laying out the story for book two, the sequel. Cadoc's aim throughout the process was to combine a good proportion of historical fact with the story's fiction, while developing what he hopes readers will consider to be a lively action-filled adventure by the characters. Unable to personally visit some of the locations for his book, he was able to contact a number of extremely helpful people who were only too happy to provide local information regarding terrain, historical details, etc. Cadoc currently lives in Central Florida, USA.

Greg Smith, originally from Sydney, Australia has lived in the United States for over 20 years. Now retired, he notched up over 40 years experience as a graphic designer in the publishing industry both in Australia and United States. In Australia he was art director for one of the country's biggest publishers, later becoming half of a two-man art studio that vied with major advertising companies to win a contract with the Henson Organization to produce promotional artwork for The Muppets, Baby Muppets, Fraggle Rock, and The Dark Crystal for the Pacific region. Smith currently lives with his wife in The Villages, Central Florida, USA. He spends most of his time working on commissioned portraits, his own artwork, and writing.
