Such a sweet heroine - perhaps the sweetest I've ever encountered. The hero is a chucklehead and amazingly blind, but rather endearing, though my first impression of him was the best, only to go down hill - but not too much. Reminded me of a mix between Georgette Heyer and a Cary Grant screwball comedy - two of my favorite things. At first, I was annoyed to see how close it was to Civil Contract, but she made it her own and had a different style and tone. The Heyer is better, but this is simply delightful! Clean, no sex. Just some kissing.

This has been one of my long-time favorite regency romances. I am delighted to have the opportunity to read it again. It's like greeting an old friend. Robin and Kitty make a very sweet couple. The only thing I found disappointing is it doesn't have its original cover.
