About the Author

Tony Berard was born in Pontiac, Michigan in 1965. He went to high school in Lapeer and graduated with a two point something gpa. Later in life, he went to college and got a bachelors degree in math from Lawrence Tech with a 3.93 gpa. Along the way he invents board games and writes books. Some of his games are Tines and Barbs, Chains, Go-12, and Fighting Chess. He also developed the Performance Rating Algorithm, which is a rating system superior to the Elo rating system used in chess. Tony has had numerous jobs. The one job I liked the most was tutoring math at Oakland Community College.
