In a chilling new thriller from New York Times bestselling author Wendy Corsi Staub, one woman looking for love online is entangled in a killer's terrifying scheme.

In the moonlight, shovelfuls of earth fall on a wooden crate at the bottom of a deep pit. Soon the hole will be filled and covered over with leaves, erasing all trace of the victim below, waking to the horror of being buried alive.

Newly divorced Gaby Duran isn't really expecting to find her soul mate on a dating site like InTune. She just needs a distraction from pining over her ex-husband, Ben, and the happy marriage they once had. And she's wise enough to know that online, the truth doesn't always match the profile. Almost everyone lies a little—or a lot.

But Gaby quickly discovers there is much more at stake than her lonely heart. Local singles are going missing after making online connections. And a predator is searching again for the perfect match. One who will fulfill every twisted desire . . . or die trying.

Read this in one sitting, much to my families dismay! This is the 1st book by this author I have read. I was under the impression that she only wrote romance. This will NOT be the last. Fantastic story. Sadly this happens in real life. Highly recommend !!!!!

Looking for love?  Are you looking online?  You could be looking for love in one of the wrong places. THE BLACKWIDOW is the third book in Wendy Corsi Staubs social media series. As always, the author has done her homework and makes you stop & think of what you put out there for the world to see. In this book you find out the killer at the beginning and follow his craziness until you reach a climatic ending. Some authors are informing their readers of the killer early on and allowing you to get into the killers mind. Ms. Staub has cleverly made it work... She still has you turning the pages with twists & turns to keep your interest. Even though this is a series... It is a stand alone novel. I would like to thank Harper Collins for providing me with an ARC  in return for an honest review. No compensation was received. Great work, Wendy, as always!

I did a review earlier and said I was confused. I would like to correct that. I blamed the author when actually it was me. I have been pretty sick with pnumonia and strep throat and I think it was my feverish and muddled mind. I am actually enjoying this book very much.

The Black Widow .... This is the author that I originally fell in love with her books. Great suspense - easy read - one of the best suspense authors around - if not the best! I look forward to her next book. What a great suspenseful escape from reality. Highly recommend this one!!!!!

Her books are quite excellent especially if you are into really creepy. sick villains. Hard to put down but so creepy at times I had to walk away from it as I've done with her other books. The characters are very good because they so are well developed. I think this was my least favorite of the ones of hers I've read which is why I only gave it 4 stars. I'd recommend any of her books but you may have nightmares!

Had trouble reading the book at first. There's five story lines. When changing story line it didn't start with a new paragraph.Often it just started in the next sentence. Don't know if it was this way only for ebooks.
