The Bride and the Rapture

This book, The Bride and the Rapture, is developed upon the basis of the Galilean-Jewish wedding of Jesus's day and on how the wedding was set up for a groom to approach the father of an intended bride to ask for her hand in marriage. The Galilean-Jewish wedding was very different from the standard Jewish weddings in Israel, and Jesus used the parallel of a Galilean wedding to his end-time scenarios. By utilizing this wedding ceremony, from betrothal to the consummation of the marriage and the marriage supper, Jesus showed this parallel.

The author takes the reader through a Galilean-Jewish wedding in chapter 1 to emphasize the different aspects involved in such a betrothal. In chapter 2, he presents what the rapture is intended for, when it will be, and for how long. In that chapter, he presents his findings for the rapture, the tribulation, and the return of Christ called the second coming.

In chapter 3, the author brings the Galilean-Jewish wedding and the rapture together to correlate each scenario to correspond to Jesus's end-time teachings. In chapter 3, the author shows by scripture, analogous comparisons of scripture, end-times scenarios, and the Galilean wedding, proving that what Jesus taught was based on the Galilean wedding.

In chapter 4, the author brings all this together--the wedding, the end-time prophecies, and related scriptures--to substantiate the truth of the premise of the book: that Jesus taught his end-time scenarios, using the Galilean wedding as an analogy for his teachings on the rapture, seven-year tribulation, and his return. The conclusion of the author's hypothesis is proven to be accurate scripturally.

The fifth chapter just adds additional information in the addendum that a believer needs to know to fully understand these truths as outlined in the first four chapters. A correlation of spiritual truths, intertwined with sound reason, adds to a better understanding of the deep things of God, that a layman, like the author, will fully understand, comprehend, and use for their daily walk with God.
