About the Author

Ashley & JaQuavis hit the street lit scene at the age of 17 when they were discovered by Carl Weber. Their first novel, Dirty Money, was an instant hit, putting them on the road to literary success. They have published more than twenty novels as a duo, including the New York Times bestselling Cartel series. They are pursuing movie and television projects to bring some of their blockbuster books to the big screen. Now married, the pair still lives in Flint, Michigan, the city that inspired many of their gritty urban tales.

This book, as with many sequels, did not equal the first one, but was still good. I didn't really like the ending... It was kind of crazy.

After I read the first Cartel, i couldn't wait for the second one to come out, and now i can't wait for the third one to come out. This book is great, and wonderful. Lots of great imagery and details. Plus it takes you back to the beginig; to where and how the The Murder Mama's got formed and how they became who they are now. The only thing i don't like about the book is the ending but what i can say about the ending is that she has a good ass dream!!! LOL

Without giving out any real details to the book... it started out as a great read to the followup to the 1st story... but when I got to the ending of the book it felt like the author decided to go on with a 3rd book so had to recant everything that was said in them book and make it like it waa all a bad dream. ? hoping the 3rd book is much better than the ending to the 2nd book.

Been waiting to read the cartel part 2 for a while now.. I feel like I wasted my time.. I do understand that the authors want to keep the readers interested however, a whole book of a dream.. I don't get it.. I don't understand.. And I felt like I wasted a good weekend or nothing.. I think I'm going to stop at the cartel 2.. I have no interest in moving forward

I love the cartel series, all four books; in fact, I love everything ashley & jaquavis write. whoever tho writes these descriptions are more like spoilers. if you read the info for all four of the books, you already know what happens. its too much info. my real complaint is that this book is 8.99 as the rest, but its only 183 or 138 pages or so. I forget which one. as I've read them all already I already know that even tho they are short books, the stories are great & you get plenty of detail & excitement out of each. but they are too costly to be so short. but not to hinder anyones interest: cartel 1-4 are must reads! page after page turner, its hard to put it down
