Overview

I once read we lose all knowledge of our family history and where we come from within 3 generations. When my husband passed away, I wrote a series of short stories for a local newspaper about raising my two sons on our homestead. From naked chickens, almost bear attacks, Auschwitz and Dachau, and online dating, life is chaotic. Sometimes we cry, but mostly we laugh.

About the Author

The author is the mother of two boys. After her husband passed away, she moved the boys to live in an area that saw -10 degrees with 10 feet of snow in the winter, much to their chagrin. From Cougar attacks to Self sufficiency, they managed to survive. The Author has been a member of Search and Rescue, A water safety instructor, Red Cross Disaster team member, a plumber, a painter, an artist, animal trainer, an outfitter, and a chef. She is currently working on another book of short stories about Women Homesteaders.
