3.5 stars! This was a really cute, sweet, quick read. Would I have purchased it to read based on the synopsis? Yes, I would have. This was a shorter book and there wasn't a whole lot to the story. Don't get me wrong, you have the back story for the main characters and a little bit for the supporting characters, but there's not much drama in this book and that's probably why it didn't catch my attention too well. But then again, the break from all the drama filled books is kind of nice. That being said, this was a sweet story. You have the bad boy who's given an ultimatum and the good girl throwing herself into her work. There's no time for anything else and no time to seek out the things that are worth it. They just exist. Until one day... I guess I was waiting for the big shebang or that "oh-hell-here-we-go" moment that is in most books lately. It never came, and I'm ok with that. not every book has to have those moments. I did feel like there wasn't much info on the dates from either Emily or Luc's POV to really get what was going on. I think if we were in their heads and saw more and heard more thoughts during those times, this would have been a lot better and I could understand why the feelings between the two were as deep as what they were so quickly. And again, sometimes there is no explanation for it. It just is. This was the first book written by Melissa McClone that I have read and I will continue to read her work. Just because it's not like the rest, doesn't mean it isn't worth reading. In fact, it's why I will look for more of her stuff! *I received a copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review*

Emily Rodgers has a mission. She needs to get this reality show back on track. How is Prince Luc going to find his royal bride if he doesn't behave. When she meets the Prince, she will make him tow the line. What she finds is an attractive man with a tender heart who makes her want him. Can Emily deal with temptation? Emily is a workaholic. She has known abandonment and will never be that vulnerable again. Luc may be a royal but he's just a pawn of his father, the King. He feels alone and unloved except when he's with Emily. She knows the real him. His charity work is his life and he won't lose it just because he doesn't have a Princess bride. I was caught up in this emotional tale. Melissa McClone writes compelling characters. They struggle to find love and happiness. I was entranced by the beautiful Lake Como setting. What a perfect backdrop for a royal romance. I enjoyed the witty and humorous dialogue. The Cinderella Princess was romantic story that combined love and heartbreak. What an enjoyable book. I loved the ending. It was perfect!

Workaholic finds her Prince! Workaholic ad-exec Emily has no time for anything but her career. She has worked hard and is on the verge of landing the client that will make her partner, when she is asked to rescue another floundering reality show. It is her boss's wife's company, so she can't refuse, holding onto the promise of Partnership if she succeeds. Prince Luc has a reputation that keeps the paparazzi on him 24/7. His father gives him an ultimatum and tells him he will take part in the reality show and find a Princess, or lose his inheritance. Unfortunately, his reputation proceeds him and there have been no second dates, and the interactions have been less than television-worthy. Emily has one goal in mind -- to get the playboy prince a wife and secure her Partnership, she has no room for Prince Charming. As she gets to know Luc, she finds appearances can be deceiving. Not only has she found the way to find him the perfect princess, she starts wondering if he really is Prince Charming. And Luc, though bound by duty, wonders if Emily is his Cinderella. Can these two find their way past their baggage and expectations to a future together? A wonderfully sweet novella, Melissa McClone has created characters you will want to spend more time with. Luc had more depth than Emily expected, and it was fun watching her perceptions change. Their interactions are fun and I really enjoyed this modern-day Fairy Tale. It was also great to see Nick and Addy as support for Emily after getting to know them in The Honeymoon Prize. **I received an ARC from the Publisher in exchange for an honest review.**

If you enjoyed The Honeymoon Prize, you will love this one! We met Addie and Nick in the first book. Now we meet Addie’s best friend Emily. Emily is working on a new show this time; finding a wife for Prince Luc. When they arrive, the prince is hung over from a night of partying. Emily realizes her work is cut out for her. However, there is more to Luc than Emily or the public realize. Creating a great show is her first priority. If she can do this, she makes partner, something she has been waiting for quite a long time. Will Emily be able to find Luc’s princess or will it be a waste of her time? I ADORED this book! Luc made me swoon and had me thinking of Prince Harry which I loved. I would quite enjoy a second story with them.

Cute story. It moved quickly and was fun to read. It was especially pleasant that it was clean fun; no sex scenes or vulgar language to try to avoid. Kudos to the author.

If you wish upon a star you might find the Prince of your dream. This book put me in the mind of the modern Cinderella romance where, women can be a princess unless the king disowned the prince. enjoy this book for the story that it brings the changes in a man who recognizes he is worth something he's just not a a spare.

Delightful Royal Romance: Rating: 4.5/5 If you adore stories involving a disillusioned, hard working, feisty female finding her HEA despite herself and obstacles along the way, this is a brilliant book for you! Advertising executive, Emily Rodgers has been sent by her boss to help salvage his wife’s reality television show endeavouring to find a wife for a real life prince! If she’s successful she’s hoping to be made a partner in the business but if she fails she knows it will never happen. A philandering father has made it difficult for her to believe in love and HEA, so she is now a total workaholic, her first task is to find and retrieve the missing prince who has ditched his ill security team and disappeared off set. Their first encounter is hilarious! Prince Lucas Alexander Leopold Casimir von Rexburg - better known as Luc - has a reputation for being a rake, he’s handsome, charming and hot. He’s already met some potential royal brides but so far none of them would dream of having a second date with him, let alone marrying him. He has just a few weeks to find himself a bride on the show or his father has threatened to disown and disinherit him. Time is not on the side of him or Emily’s and their mutual attraction really isn’t helping, even if Emily tries to deny it even exists! When she starts uncovering what he is really like, his charity work and relationship with ill children can it help change her view on him?  You’ll have to read this yourself to find out what happens but I’ll tell you now it does involve a glass slipper! I thoroughly enjoyed this light hearted, delightful romance. It is well written, has great characters and a lovely easy read to relax with. I have no hesitation in highly recommending this. Thanks to the author, publishers and NetGalley, too, for letting me read an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Fairy tales can come true. The last thing Emily Rodgers wanted to do was leave the country to babysit a reckless royal. Prince Lucas Alexander Leopold Casimir von Rexburg is in a reality tv show to find a wife or he will be disowned by his family. Emily is given the job to get the show back on track and find more princesses who are willing to marry to always partying, out of control prince. As Emily spends more time with Prince Luc, she sees he isn’t what the tabloids and news media say he is. She sees a different prince, one who is caring and considerate. He is also one of the hottest men Emily has ever laid her eyes on. But Emily isn’t here looking for a man. She’s here to do a job and get back home where she is promised a big promotion with her company. She also doesn’t believe in happily ever after. She has seen it firsthand what loving someone can do when they leave you. What lengths will Prince Luc go to in order to convince Emily that she is the Cinderella he has always been searching for? This is one of those really sweet stories that we are all looking for in a romance book.
