Amazed books like this are so popular. There's so much violent abuse against women. This happens enough in real life. I don't find it entertaining. And men like Mark are a bit unrealistic. All the heroes of books like this seem to be the same, as do the 'heroines'. I guess it's time to give up on this genre.

SEE ABOVE HEADLINE! Once again, your attention will be riveted, to each page of RETURN, REVENGE & REUNION, the three novels within the BOXED SET of COMING HOME. The underlying tension is felt throughout each of these three novels. MELI/JULIA has never disappointed me, in the many novels I've read by her.

I read these books separately & now they are in one box set! These were incredible books were incredible! I do recommend reading the Breaking Away Series first, but it is not required! This series was an emotional & physical rollercoaster ride for both the character & the readers! The physical part for the reader may not make sense now, but believe me, it is! Now, I'm going to re-read both now! So if you have read it, you should too! If you haven't, then you should start now!

An amazing series!!! Book 1 Just WOW!! This is the first book in a new series by Meli Raine. This series has the potential to push the limits. I can't wait to see what comes next. Carrie is returning to her hometown after leaving 3 years ago to follow her dad. He was accused and convicted of making and selling Meth. Carrie left everything behind, even Mark. She is returning home to seek justice for her dad. Carrie wants to hate Mark, but the feelings are still there. Mark was her boyfriend and arresting officer. The twists and turns in this book leave you guessing. I can only guess where this story is going. That cliffhanger, I have a guess who it is but with Meli's writing, I will probably be wrong. Book 2 What can I say but OMG!! This is the second book in the series. It picks right up where the first one let off. Carrie was taken, but it was Mark who has her. He is trying to protect her from everything. Everything is all coming back to the Dean. There are missing women showing up dead and missing appendages. Amy is still missing. Mark, what an alpha male!! Wouldn't mind him rescuing me any day. Carrie and Mark finally open up and get everything on the table. They take things to the next step. Mark is DEA! This book had it all, the twists that you don't see coming. The love scenes were hot. Oh and to get to see Chase and Allie!! Just to see what they are up to and how they are involved. One hell of a cliffhanger. Can't wait to see how the story ends with book 3!! Book 3 Wow, what a way to finish this series. I was sucked right into it. The way that book 2 left you hanging, you just wanted to scream. This picks right up where it left off. Carrie has found her best friend Amy. She is doing to good, with a missing arm. They are stuck in the basement of the coffee shop. Carrie breaks down and picks herself back up. She isn't going to let them die in there. No one knows where they are. To see what Carrie goes through in this book and to come out alive. Just WOW!! Mark gets arrested for a murder, he didn't commit. All part of the plan for the Dean. Between him and Frenchie, I just wanted to gut them myself. You get all the characters in this book. Chase, Allie, Drew, Galt, Loogie, and Helen. I dint want to give anything away, because this was a great story that you must pick up. Chase and Mark finally get some answers about their dad Galt.

This is an awesome series and I hope you enjoy it too. Book 1- I found Meli Raine in the Breaking Away series and was happy to learn there would be a story about Mark, Chase's brother. This story is filled with love, hate, suspense, heartbreak, lost love and lost family. Carrie left without a word three years ago and Mark wants answers but he will have to give his own answers too. Mark is the officer who arrested her father on drug charges and he was later killed in prison. Now Carrie is back in her home town to see if she can find out the truth. She knows it will not bring her father back but she and the whole town will know the truth. And who is kidnapping all these young ladies? Can Mark keep her safe when all the crazy stuff begins? Will Carrie give Mark the chance to explain what happened three years ago? What does Eric and Claudia have to do when it is all said and done? And don't forget that there is a killer cliffhanger and I need book 2 NOW. Book 2- Oh my, where to begin. Carrie is learning that all things she has known for three years just might not be true. She can't believe that Mark has lied to her. Can she trust anyone? Will they ever find Amy and who kidnapped her? Carrie is having weird nightmares and it seems they might be coming true. Can Mark keep her safe? It was hard to put this book down, I had to know more and now that I am finished with book 2, I need book three NOW. The suspense is gonna kill me, I have to know how it ends. If you love a great story that is filled with heartbreak, heartache, and suspense, then this series is for you. It will keep you on the edge of your seat until the end and leaving you screaming for more. I fell in love with Meli Raine and her writing style when I read Chasing Allie and have read everything in this series and I look forward to reading more from her. Chasing Allie is part of the Breaking Away series and the Coming Home series continues from there. Book 3- This is the end of the Coming Home series and what a way to end. It is full if suspense, scary times for Carrie and Amy and all ends with love. While Amy is being held captive, Carrie happens upon her and is trapped with her. She will try anything to get the both free. And after what seems like days, it turns out that Carrie has been missing only a day. While Le Brujo thinks he is untouchable, there are so many people looking for Carrie and Amy that he will not see it coming. Can Mark get to Carrie before it is too late? Will Allie, Chase and Drew save them both? I loved Allie and Chase's story and loved Carrie and Mark too and I can't wait to see what Meli Raine has in store for Drew. Once you begin this one, you will not stop until the very end.

I have read these books individually and here is my opinion of Return the first book in the series. I was honored to receive the first book (Return) from Meli Raine for my honest opinion of the book and the first word that come to my mind is WOW and then I did not expect that to happen! I loved her first series which started with "Finding Allie" and I was so very excited to be given the opportunity to read this first book in her new series...with that said I will warn all of you that this is the first of three books in the series and that it ends with a cliff hanger and what a cliff hanger it is...that falls into the category of I didn't see that coming.. we meet Callie and she is going home..after her dad dies in prison for a drug convection that she in her heart knows he didn't have anything to do with! We meet Mark who if you read her first series we know is related to Chase who makes an appearance in this book as well...her return does not start out smooth..she gets flat and the person who comes to help her is Mark her love and the person she just left behind..the attraction is still there and just as strong..we see sparks..Callie is determined to clear her fathers name but in the meantime things are happening with in the area..women are disappearing..and they look like Amy Callie's one and only friend...this book had me turning pages until I found that I was at the end of's passion, suspense along with some tears and some laughs I found myself wanting book 2 right now. This had everything I expected and so much more...bring on the next book as I need my fix! The beauty of purchasing the box set is that you do not have to wait to find out what happens you can continue on reading the next book in the series! Take a chance you will be so glad that you did.

Reunion is a perfectly pulse-pounding and emotionally intense ending to this captivating series. Nothing felt like it was left out or unexplained. I was left feeling highly satisfied and completely happy with the way this series blossomed unexpectedly and yet naturally. The storyline was utterly heart-wrenching and at the same time undeniably uplifting in its beautiful message that was portrayed by such outstanding characters. My heart will forever carry a piece of this outstanding journey with me for as long as I live. Carrie has allowed her curiosity to get the better of her and finds herself thrown into a horrifying nightmare. No matter what, she is determined to fight and never give up, but the human mind can only sustain nightmares for so long before it bends and starts to break. She knows she needs to hold on just a little longer because she is not alone. Her strength is for more than just herself, and that revelation fuels her determination to outlast what lies before her. Will Mark be able to find Carrie and rescue her before the unthinkable happens, or will he be arrive just to see what is left of a mind that has frayed beyond repair? Watching the beautiful rebirth of the love that surrounds and binds Carrie and Mark is truly beyond words. These two deeply scarred souls can only find the solace and happiness they desperately long for within the other. No matter what circumstances push them apart, they grow stronger and more determined the longer their bond is allowed to grow and flourish. They show what true sacrifice and pure love is all about - thinking of the other person before themselves, and doing what they know will help the other no matter the cost to them. In the end, that love and devotion will not be forgotten. It will only prove to forge a love and a life that no one and nothing can break or destroy. Meli Raine has without a doubt proven to the world that she has the power and passion to create masterpieces that will undoubtedly stand the test of time. I have managed to once again fall in love with her incredible world-building, her phenomenal characters, and her brilliant storyline. Nothing could have been more perfect then walking this beautifully mesmerizing journey of hope and strength with this wonderfully talented author!

This series was pretty good. There was few chapters that just seems to lag on and at times the main character Carrie was just dumb, I would have liked if she actually stood up for herself and asked the questions that she was thinking about. Her boyfriend Mark was just dodge questions and even at the end I still had some unanswered questions.. it was about 430 pages on nook
