The Community: Existence by Jessie Mahoney
There are indeed things that go bump in the night, and 25 year old Forsythea Daniels has fallen in love with one of them. While on her first crime scene, working for a local newspaper, she meets a darkly handsome man named Edric. His convincing lie leads her away, leaving him to try to repair the damage being done while continuing to maintain his Community's secrets; but not before this beautiful woman's innocence awakens the darkness within him, that he struggles to keep hold of.
Forsythea meets Edric again only a day later, when he saves her from a mugging, but before she can thank him, he disappears into the night, leaving her to wonder about him once more. Determined to repay him, she embarks on a journey of information and finds herself entwined in a dangerous game that she never thought could ever truly exist. In order to survive she must learn one thing: nothing is ever as it seems.
THE COMMUNITY: EXISTENCE is the first in a series of fantasy novels that grips the reader within the first chapter. It is about a young woman trying to find her place within two different worlds. Caught up in romance, suspense and danger, Forsythea Daniels finds following her heart could mean her life.
