In this first novel of a new crime series Dr Power, Consultant Psychiatrist, is recruited by Superintendent Lynch to help him solve a murder in leafy Alderley Edge. Lynch and Power are then challenged by a series of intense events and realise that they are both caught up in a desperate race against time. This is the first novel by Hugh Greene in the Power and Lynch series.
