About the Author

Rachael Herron is the bestselling author of the novels The Ones Who Matter Most, Splinters of Light, and Pack Up the Moon (Penguin), the five-book Cypress Hollow series, and the memoir, A Life in Stitches (Chronicle). She received her MFA in writing from Mills College, Oakland. She teaches writing extension workshops at both UC Berkeley and Stanford and is a proud member of the NaNoWriMo Writer's Board. The title makes it sound bad so i archived it without reading it

I could not connect with these characters. There was no chemistry between them.

Very good story , I would definitely recommend giving it a try ; true some parts were slow but enjoyable .

I loved this 242 page novel, it was sad at times & happy at times. It is a stand alone, read it almost straight thru. Loved the main players, plan to read more buy Ms Herron. GJRA

It starts out a little slow, but hang in thete it gets better and better. Ms Herron is one of my favorite authors. Great stories and unusual plots. CB
