The Disability Experience: Short Works and Poetry

Written by a survivor of a disabling car/semi accident who has suffered from severe Major Depressive Disorder. It includes both advocacy pieces as well as other poems and stories. the writing of which had been therapeutic in her journey towards a healthier lifestyle. The writings vary from sad and serious, lighthearted and funny. She hopes you will find both understanding of the disability experience as well as the therapeutic role of writing and humor in the recovery process.
