Most Helpful Customer Reviews
This is a book of fantasy, with dragons, magic, and conflict, but the novel focuses on hope and kindness rather than reveling in anger and violence. There is fighting and death, but the tone is intelligent and somber. The novel also delves into gender and animal rights in a way rarely seen in the genre. Both this and the first book are great reading, with excellent plot, pacing, and writing.
