About the Author

Peter Bernard Kyne (1880-1957) was a prolific American novelist and screenwriter. Kyne published between 1904 and 1940, with dozens of novels adapted for film during the silent era. His most noted work is THE THREE GODFATHERS, adapted as a silent film in 1916 and a "talkie" starring John Wayne in 1948. Kyne died in San Francisco in 1957.
