Overview

This is the third book in the 4th grade children's living science book series entitled, The Gumshoe Archives. It teaches the science behind the properties of rocks and how soil is created.

Each chapter contains a review exam to test the students knowledge of the information presented as well as a comprehensive exam at the end of the book. There are also helpful activity ideas at the beginning of each chapter to help the teacher facilitate the learning process.


The Storyline:

Mr. Rocky Feller is hopping mad because his diamond mine is constantly being robbed. They call on Andy to find the thief before all of Mr. Fellers diamonds are gone. In the course of the investigation they find a suspect with long lost ties to Norsely. This case suddenly becomes personal. Follow the duo as they find a diamond thief and learn about rock and soil properties as well.

Robert was born in Seattle Washington. He graduated from San Jose State University with a B.S. Degree in Business Management. He has always pursued his passion for writing, and is now combining that passion with his love of teaching. Being the father of five, he has always been keenly aware of the need for teaching materials that captivate and hold a child's attention.
