This is the fourth book in the 4th grade children's living science book series entitled, The Gumshoe Archives. It teaches the science concepts of how fossils are created and where dinosaurs roamed.

Each chapter contains a review exam to test the students knowledge of the information presented as well as a comprehensive exam at the end of the book. There are also helpful activity ideas at the beginning of each chapter to help the teacher facilitate the learning process.


The Storyline:

When something starts terrorizing an old museum in Scrugville Utah, Andy and Norsely must get to the bottom of it. What they find changes Norsely's life forever. Their investigation takes them to various fossil sites as they learn about our ancient past. Norsely is forced to make a difficult decision, one that will test his friendship with Andy. Join the adventure and learn about fossil formation.

About the Author

Robert was born in Seattle Washington. He graduated from San Jose State University with a B.S. Degree in Business Management. He has always pursued his passion for writing, and is now combining that passion with his love of teaching. Being the father of five, he has always been keenly aware of the need for teaching materials that captivate and hold a child's attention. In his own words, "If the child won't read the book it won't teach them a thing". The Gumshoe Archives provide an entertaining way to learn for students of all ages.
