As posted on The Smutty Kitty Reviewed by Michelle B 3.5 out of 5 Licks I was completely drawn into the story of Sky and her two mates Jaxon and Zane. The instant chemistry was so believable that when they had their first sexual encounter it didn’t seem too early. The vivid world the author drew for us was so descriptive I could picture things as clearly as if they were right in front of me. There were so many wonderful elements to the story. First, there was the conflict of a rival Harvester who pushes Sky into returning to her old life, and all the turmoil that would cause, to the encounter with her mother. Her mother, the queen, is very different from what Sky remembered her as, and finally finding out her baby sister had become a Harvester also. We get a chance to see Sky in action as she is confronted by her nemesis, a fellow Harvester, who Sky puts in her place. In that small glimpse you find there is more to Sky than just an amazon-like alien woman who has lots of great gadgets. The author has a wonderful premise of a story, which I truly hope becomes a series. The major downfall of the story is I felt it was too short and there were so many unresolved conflicts that left me wanting. She wrapped the story up, giving us readers our HEA, but left a lot unfinished. Like why the men were killed off on other planets? Who orchestrated the plagues and why? What did her nemesis have to do with it all? Why were her mother and sister not on their home planet? So many things that I wanted answers for were left hanging, but I still enjoyed the story. I hope she plans to write more and give us readers the chance to get all our questions answered.
