Something has altered the cornfield at the Old Franklin Farm out on old county road 183. Sarah struggles with the truth about her genetic make up, the new neighbor Mr. Adams who is the caretaker of the farm and the man she thought she knew. She is forced to understand the reality of who or what her mother really is, and that the inevitable is the only solution to the death of one world and the birth of a new one.
