If that weren't enough, everyone in Chloe's life seems to be going through a rough patch, from her best friend, Lori, who is trying to plan a wedding, to her niece Kyra who is upset about Jason's choice of television roles, to Jason himself who is inexplicably moody and withdrawn. None of this drama is the type of thing Chloe knows how to resolve.
She is trained to do one thing: hunt down the big bad wolves of the world. But with her connections to fame compromising her work, she may not even be allowed to stay on the case. The clock is ticking as law enforcement agencies across the country try to find a serial killer before he strikes again. Chloe is faced with a choice, to help catch one of the most evil criminals in history, or provide support to the friends and family who have always been there for her. Either way, she feels she might make the mistake of a lifetime.

It was another great book and not predictable.
Did I enjoy this book: I did enjoy this book. Not quite as much as the first two books in the series, but I did like it a lot. (The first two books are Someone Else’s Fairytale, which I absolutely loved, and Nobody’s Damsel. The links are to my reviews. Go check them out.) I loved catching up with Jason and Chloe. I like that they are doing well and navigating marriage, Jason’s career, and Chloe’s career and past. They are a great couple, but they are working through some tough times. The main story had me hooked. I kept reading until the very end. I didn’t want to put it down. With that said, the main plot was a bit predictable for me. While I didn’t guess exactly, I was pretty close. But it didn’t bother me. I still got caught up in the story. I still had to keep reading. I still wanted to know what happened. I really hope there is more to Jason and Chloe’s story. It doesn’t feel finished to me. Or maybe I just don’t want it to be over. ¿ Would I recommend it: Read the first two then check out this one. It’s a good addition to the series. Disclosure: I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
