I have never been a quitter. But after a week of this diet, I honestly gave up. Maybe I was thinking this would be a more common sense approach to weight loss. The problem is that things says book tends to be inconsistent. In one breath it wants to cut out grains, but tells you in the next that wild rice is okay? Second, I wish the meat of the message came in say chapter one. I felt it spent too much time telling how I will get from point A to B than actually showing me. Save yourself a lot of time and just skip to chapter 5. Overall, I'd recommend this book to someone already familiar with the Keto diet and who is already an athlete and not aspiring to be one. For me, I just ordered Dr. Oz's new book Food Can Fix It and another book I know that I should have bought by now The Hungry Chick Dieting Solution. I kept saying "buy it, buy it, buy it" but I didn't until now!
