WARREN RUSTAND is a husband, father, grandfather, entrepreneur, corporate leader, educator, speaker, and philanthropist. He received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the Universityof Arizona, where he was an Academic All-American basketball player.
After a stint in public service under President Gerald Ford, Warren entered the private sector as an entrepreneur. He subsequently was CEO of six companies and chairman of many others. He has served on the boards of directors of some fifty-two for-profit and not-for-profit organizations.
Warren was global chair of the World Presidents’ Organization and is the current dean of learning for the EO Global Leadership Academy, in addition to all Regional Leadership Academies. He is a well-known speaker on topics of leadership, personal development, strategy, scaling businesses, entrepreneurship, and family.
ROBERT M. GATES served as secretary of defense from 2006 to 2011. He also served as an officer in the United States Air Force and worked for the Central Intelligence Agency before being appointed director of the agency by President George H. W. Bush. He was a member of the National Security Council staff in four administrations and served eight presidents of both political parties. Additionally, Gates has a continuing distinguished record in the private sector and in academia, including currently serving as chancellor of the College of William and Mary. He holds a Ph.D. in Russian and Soviet history from Georgetown University.
