The little lonely duck

On the bay of Lake Superior. There is a duck. It is springtime. Laying eggs and waiting for them to hatch. Always staying in the nest, unless looking for some seaweed or fish. The duck loves to eat rainbow trout. Her mate has wandered off somewhere, so the duck is by itself. It is trying to fend for itself, having nobody else.
