This book is very depressing. It's written absurdly awesome but the situation seems hopeless. The village of Nowhere, where live goody-goodies and farmers are under attack from an experienced mercenary army. How can they win? By hiring their own mercenaries, of course! This tale goes quickly from down-in-the-dumps to happy-go-lucky. A great read if you can supress your feelings towards the characters!
