About the Author

Khenpo Sherab Zangpo is a lineage holder in the tradition of the Great Perfection, the highest teachings of the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism. His root teacher is the late Khenpo Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche, the founder of the Larung Buddhist Institute of Five Sciences in Eastern Tibet, the world’s largest of its kind. Now a primary teacher at Larung Gar, Khenpo Sherab also has devoted himself to aiding those in need by establishing Tashi Triling Retreat Center and its affiliated hospital and nursing home, and promoting animal welfare in China and overseas. He is the author of several acclaimed books in Chinese.
