Just like all the others, this book is a great read. My daughter loves this book. I can honestly say that I enjoy it also.

My children (and my mife and myself--I should be honest!) have been waiting for this book ever since we found out it was coming out. I purchased the first copy from my local B&N Tuesday evening. We have been reading it each night before bed. Another winner!

This book is laugh out loud funny, one day my friend and I came across this book while we wondered Barnes & Noble. We're 18 and after reading this childrens book we couldn't stop laughing! This is a great book for children and apparently teenagers.

What adorable books these are. I think I enjoy reading these more than my son does. Such cute story lines.

My daughter was a late bloomer (when it came to reading), but loves the pigeon character and wanted more. I can honestly say the pigeon books are what started her on her reading journey and because of them she is now an avid reader.

This is the 4th Pigeon book I have purchased for my grandchildren. They are wonderful to read and act out. Their parents love them just as much as the kids.

Pigeon is hysterical, and the illustrations are simple yet adorable. The adults who read this book enjoyed it as much (if not more!) than the children being read to. Combined with the plush Pigeon I found, this book made for a great holiday gift. I can't wait for more Pigeon adventures.

oh my gosh, what a cute book. this pigeon really wants a puppy and he tells you over and over again in this book, he also lists reasons why he wants it and why he thinks he should have it. in the end he gets a little surprise, which i find the funniest part. i smiled the whole way through this book and the kids at my daycare love it too. the simple pictures went with the big bold sentence on the page or on the opposite page. the book is big and wide and easy to read.

The Pigeon Wants a Puppy by Mo Willems is his latest book in the pigeon series. My son loves these books because he can read them himself and they are hilarious. He really identifies with the pigeon and I think any child will as well as any adult who can remember being a child. This time Willems puts a little twist on the theme though. This time pigeon complains and wheels and deals for a puppy and {gasp} actually gets one this time. Only thing is he didn't realize that puppies are a lot bigger than pigeons, hence a very funny ending and pigeon puts his mind onto a different, though still unsuitable, pet. Highly recommended! Each of the four books in this series are just as good as the other and anyone, young or old, is going to have a big giggle over them.

I thought this was a really cute book. I've seen the pigeon books before but never read one so I had to pick this one up. It's a story about a pigeon that really, really wants a puppy. he finally gets one and it wasn't quite what he expected so he then decides he wants a walrus. The illustartions are really cute and I think this is a great book for really young readers. The words are really big and they aren't too hard so it's a great learning to read book.

THe pigeon wants a puppy this time and will do anything to get one. He is very persistant. Allows kids to interact with the book

A funny story about a pigeon who wants a puppy. The pigeon begs, pleads and coerces the reader (or an unseen adult) to let him have a puppy. The pigeon eventually gets the puppy, but he is frightened by its size. He decides a puppy is not what he wants after all, and he begins to ask for...a walrus! The book has simple cartoon illustrations

The latest in the Pigeon series this book is quite relateable for those who REALLY want something, but when nose to nose with the new responsibility, discover they would like something different. Unfortunately the style and story is very similar to the other books in the series, and it a bit too predictable. The best thing about the book is the contest it created -- and the opportunity for children to guess what the Pigeon would want.

I mean, they just set such a high standard, really....The thing is, my nieces don't find the jokes in this one that funny. I mean, they get them, but only once I kinda wink at them and highlight that "hey, that was just a joke", and it's not... that worth it.Still a good book, just not as great as the others.

The Pigeon has decided he's always wanted a puppy. But is he ready to take care of one, especially when he meets one? Some laughs and a general good time to be had with this delightful picture book.

We all love the Pigeon books. My 6 year old is a slow reader. You have to push him to read. But with the Pigeon books he loves to read. He's able to read 96% of the book on his own with a little help on the "big" words, which are not many. The illustrations are wonderful. They are simple but do a phenomenal job of bringing the characters to life. I personally love the Pigeon's facial expressions. I believe the size of the book is a plus. It gives more room for the drawing and it makes it seem like there's not a lot to read (for those that have a difficult time reading). We have no complaints about the Pigeon books. I'm trying to complete our set. We LOVE that Pigeon!!!!!

We love this book, especially the faces that the pigeon makes and the lines! The kids really relate to things that pigeon says ("you just don't want me to be happy!") Thoroughly enjoyable!
