About the Author

After leaving Montana for college in Springfield, Missouri where Janie had a job as a staff writer for Gospel Publishing House, she met her handsome husband, Stan, who was preparing for missionary service in the Philippines. They eventually left for the Philippines with three little girls and returned with four. Later, they went to the South Pacific Island kingdom of Tonga, where they raised teen-age girls in a lovely but isolated island paradise. Now Janie enjoys a more conventional life in Oregon with her husband, her children and grandchildren and the beautiful Northwest mountains and beaches to explore.

But part of her will always belong to that farm in the Big Sky Country of Montana.
