These books are so freaking AWESOME !!!  Ok OK I liked Ben, looked into what else Brad wrote and found Return.  Nothing even hinted that these were a series but THEY ARE!!  You must read them in order and then go back and reread them (that is my plan)!  I loved The Return.  I hadn’t read anything like it before.  I’ve done the whole time travel thing but never reincarnation…WOW.  I really struggled about reading Slugger, just because I knew how it was going to end, but BOY Boney did NOT disappoint.  I HIGHLY recommend these!

Loved the book.    I particularly enjoyed the love affair between Stanton and Hutch,  and their interrelationship between their friends   .The the connection with Topher was terrific,  and the individual building of each person was very well done.

Sweet isn’t usually the first word that comes to mind when reading m/m romance.  But it is when I think of The Return by Brad Boney.  I also think well written, intelligent, poignant, sometimes gut wrenching with moments of humor that will make you laugh out loud.  I am not usually a fan of two part stories where each part alternates chapters until they come together in the end but Brad Boney blends the two so seamlessly well that I can’t imagine the story any other way. I fell a little bit in love with each of the characters and will admit to tears.    Although we reconnect with the characters from The Nothingness of Ben this book can be read standalone.  My only complaint with this book is that nowhere was the fabulous Freddy Mercury mentioned.

Second book in the series but could be read as stand alone. At first I was nervous because this one touch on the past and present and I normally don't like books that flip back and forth. But the author does such a brilliant job of creating a beautiful story not just between Topher and Stanton but Hutch and Stanton you are looking forward to the past story as much as the present one. Topher is so kind hearted and understanding you just want to cuddle him and Stanton's past story just makes you want to cry. When the worlds finally come together, the love story that follows is so amazing I signed at the end!

Loved the story, I had a hard time with the 'flashbacks' and following along with the continuity of the story, having said that I understand the necessity of them just felt like the flow could have been a little better.

I don't even have the words to describe how amazing this book is! I cried buckets and laughed my ass off. The story was so original and the characters were flawed and beautiful. I can't wait for more by this author. A truly inspirational love story.

I loved this book! I finished it weeks ago but I still find myself thinking about it. Though it stands alone, it does tie into The Nothingness of Ben - another wonderful book by Brad Boney. I would highly recommend both books!

Fantastic book. Could not put it down. I can't stress enough how amazing a read this is. I'm always on the look out for books beyond the normal gay romance novel's usual predictable formula, and this book certainly breaks the mold. The ending was a bit odd, and deffinately abrupt, but in no way detracts from the story as a whole. Do yourself a favor and buy this book.
