This is a superior selection for anyone to become acquainted or better acquainted with R.L.S. I am particularly pleased that this goes beyond the four favorites and includes The Wrong Box, which I regard as a gentle send-up of Wilkie Collins a rather fraught and verbose competitot best known for The Tontine and the Moonstone. It also has childhood favorited and the essays on writing that influenced many 20th C. names.
