There is a permanent fascination about the lives of eminent people, and this is no less true of those whose faith and religious zeal have made them 'great'. In this new book the author provides a series of mini-biographies of forty-five of the better known saints, and brief notes on many more. They include a wide range of people, male and female, who have some connection with Scotland and influenced its religious life and traditions.
