The Sales Pro by Paul Anderson is absolutely phenomenal in every way! This book gave me incredible insight and usable skills in my day-to-day work. I have maxed my sales goals and have found this to be my "secret" and recommend it to everyone young and not so young... It is a true masterpiece and I love the caricatures, the useful questions and cannot speak highly enough about this book. I now ask myself ... "what would Pete and Paul Anderson do?" Buy this if you want to be EXTREMELY successful and knock the socks off of anyone you talk to :)

Selling like a PRO has never been more clear to me than in "The Sales Pro" by Paul Anderson. Paul's characterization of Pete and his learning scenarios resonate strongly with me as I have been in those exact situations! Examples and dialogue provide clear and concise breakdowns of how to approach situations, and the "Winning Presentation Formula" is sure to guarantee my success.

If you want to be the best at your job GET THIS BOOK! I read the Sales Pro and literally felt a huge difference when talking to people the next day. I doubled my sales in just the next day after reading this amazing book. It fits every learning style because it has comics, self test questions, and a storyline to help you fully understand the material. Get this book now if you want to turn into the best of the best.

This book is an excellent resource for anyone interested in sharpening his or her sales skills. It provides a high quality set of methods and techniques one can adopt when selling any product including his or herself. It begins with a fantastic chapter that details the undeniable importance of belief in whatever one maybe selling. Moreover, this chapter and others in the book, contain a set of exercises the reader can complete to help in shaping his or her focus toward what they mean to sell and how they intend to do that. It also provides a very informative chapter about elements of the sales cycle including building rapport. But, arguably the most significant portion of the book is where Anderson lays out a formula for a winning presentation and provides practical tools one can use to make that a reality. This includes how one should reinforce the gains that will be made by the consumer purchasing whichever product the seller is promoting. Finally, Anderson writes in such an engaging and confident way that in turn, the reader is filled with confidence in the information that he puts forth. Therefore, if you are beginning a career in sales, are an experienced salesman or woman, or just want to know the basics of salesmanship in your non- sales job or your life, you should get a hold of this book. It can help you sell anything from book cases to you alone.

I have wanted to get into sales for quite some time now, but I'm so clueless I don't know where to begin. I've been putting my dream off for years now, always telling myself that I'll learn soon. I recently stumbled across The Sales Pro, by Paul Anderson, and decided to give it a try (after reading the description). I figured I didn't have much to lose by at least giving it a chance. By the time I was done with this book, I felt so confident and ready to finally jump into sales, it was unbelievable. This book is SO informative and so well written, I am mad that I didn't discover it years ago. This book is written in such a way that things just flow, and end up clicking. Anderson does an excellent job writing in a simple way, that is easy to follow along with. He explains exactly what you're getting yourself into in terms of sales, and what to expect. There is no sugarcoating here, which is what I appreciate. I love the inclusion of real life stories, it definitely makes it more relatable. If you are interested in going into sales, or just want to learn more about what's involved, I would definitely give this one a shot. Five stars all the way for a well written book.

This is a must read for anyone with a sales career, or anyone who is considering one. There were so many different strategies to use to accomplish a perfect sale, no matter what you are selling. It has examples showing how it is more about your body language and demeanor, than what you have to say. And the cartoons in each chapter help instill what you have just learned. It explains how to save time by making sure you are speaking to the right person, and by clarifying what the customer expects from you or your product. With reminders like always analyzing your results, and constantly striving to improve yourself, it highlights your weaknesses, as well as your strengths and potential. I consider this to be an excellent reference book to have at my disposal. By periodically re-reading it, I know I can stay on top of my selling game.

Are you considering a career in sales, struggling to understand the sales component of your current job, or just plain want to understand the techniques and tricks of sales? If so, The Sales Pro should be on your must-read list. Successful veteran salesman Paul Anderson condenses his lifetime of experience into step by step guide of how to master the art of the sale. Rather than the tired cliches of marketers, Anderson gives you easily understood instructions on how to both get in the sales mindset and achieve the actual sale. My husband is in sales, and the instructions in this book were very similar to what he learned, and he had top notch training, unlike many who are just thrown in. If you are struggling because you were just dumped into sales, try the processes outlined here. My only complaint was the little cartoon vignettes did not really enhance the learning for me, although that is just me - everyone learns differently. I’m sure others find them better than the text. Either way, this book will help you get a grasp on a difficult process and help you start selling and earning.

I think it is always a good idea to read a book about the field you either want to go into or are going into. Particularly sales, which is not for the faint of heart. I think this book is a great indicator of what you are actually getting yourself into and how you are to succeed. The way the information is presented in this book makes it easy to engage and learn the strategies and the ideas it presents. It doesn't just regurgitate information that you can find anywhere, but it gives you real-life stories in a fun and interactive way. After reading this, I feel as though sales is a much more reachable position for me, so long as I follow its guidance, whereas before I never even would have considered it. I recommend anyone who is want to start into this field to read this book. I think it is a much better read than any that I have seen before, and much more engaging.
