Nigella’s father owns an oil company and sends her to get some of Adjaline family’s land in Al- Saridas her father wants to run a pipeline. If she proves herself she may get to run his company when he retires. By the look of him it won’t be long. Malid had got into an argument over a family issue and is banned from his home. But his father brings him back to head this. If he can pull this off and benefit his family he will be allowed home and will be able to see his mom who is gravely ill. Nothing will stop him from seeing his mom. As they work together Nigella and Malid start to sleep together and then to fall in love. I really did like the story and plot. Even though very predictable and like the previous book of Malet brother but this was a quick read so I understand why this was written as it was. But did not stop me from enjoying this book. The characters were really good . I liked all the ins and outs that Nigella and Malid went through even if they're being together seemed a little rushed but it was a novella. I recommend. I received an ARC of this story for an honest review.

*ARC received from NetGalley in return for an honest review" The Sheikh's Reluctant American is another satisfying read by Leslie North. Nigella is a strong female and a likable character. Malid is a stubborn, proud man, but wise enough to recognize he can learn a few things about family from Nigella. I completely enjoyed this quick read, as is the case with every Leslie North book I have read.

I was given a gifted copy by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Malid is the eldest son of Sheikh Nimr. He is asked by his father to negotiate and get a contract with an American oil company. Nigella is the only child of the owner of the oil company and to be able to run the company after her father retires, she is asked by her father to negotiate the contract with the Sheikh’s son. In spite of having several editing issues and being a little slow at the beginning, I did enjoy the book. I thought it would just be another story about proud sheikhs, and of course, it is. However, the author focuses more on the relationship between the family members. I did like the sense of humor in the dialogues between Adilan and his wife Michelle with Malid.

This is a great addition to this series but can be read alone. A couple thrown together to make the best deals for their families while one proving to her father that she has the ability to take over control of the company while the other is trying to gain his place back into the family. Will they both achieve their goals while falling in love with each other. As all of Leslie North's books this is a great and light read that is perfect to curl up in bed with to relax. I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.

Leslie North is one of my favorite authors. From the time I discovered her a couple of years ago, I have read the majority of her work. I received an ARC of The Sheikh's Reluctant American in exchange for an honest review. I wanted to like this story. I understood what she was striving for. Enjoyed getting to know Malid and Nigella. It was Malid's back story and the secondary characters, mainly his family saga that I did not like. There were so many twists and turns that it proved to be a hindrance more than an asset. That was the only draw back for me.
