About the Author

Sherri Shepherd is an American actress, comedian, New York Times bestselling author, broadcaster, and television personality. She currently hosts the daily syndicated daytime talk show Sherri and is a cohost of the popular podcast Two Funny Mamas. From 2007 to 2014, Shepherd was a cohost of the daytime talk show The View, for which she received multiple Daytime Emmy Award nominations, winning one in 2009. She has hosted Dish Nation and Best Ever Trivia Show; she starred in the sitcoms The Jamie Foxx Show, Less than Perfect, Sherri, Trial & Error, and Mr. Iglesias; and she appeared on Dancing with the Stars, 30 Rock, and more.

Tanisha Cherislin is a New York–based artist. Some of her clients include Random House; Little, Brown and Company; and Macmillan. In addition to children's books, Tanisha makes art for websites, app games, and animation for TV and feature films. During her free time Tanisha likes playing video games, bird-watching, and picnicking.
