This is the 2nd book in the End Of The Line series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For reader understanding and enjoyment, I recommend reading these in order. Will inspires lust for Hunter the second he meets him. He is sent to take down Will's siblings, not get sidetracked by their little brother. He ends up working with him, but fighting himself and temptation. Hunter is a badass bodyguard wrapped in hot man candy. Will finds it hard to fight his attraction to him. Right from the beginning he has made his heart beat harder. Can they find common ground? This series is just a joy to read. I have a hard time putting the book down. I love the banter, the heat, and the characters. I cannot wait for the next book! ***This ARC copy was given by Netgalley and its publisher in exchange for an honest review only.

I received a free review copy of this book by NetGalley Hunter works as a bodyguard but, in fact, he is an undercover agent from the BDN (German intelligence). He is infiltrated in an evil organization runs by Peter and Stacia Rivers. Will is the youngest Rivers. He has been away studying and now he is called home by his father. He wants to run away and forget about his family but when he meets Hunter he can’t do it. Both characters had suffered a lot from their fathers when they were very young. That make them sad, insecure and unworthy to be loved but, at the same time, it make them stronger because they know what they don’t want to become: a ruthless man like their fathers. The book is well-written, sometimes slow-paced but always worth reading it. I liked both characters and I loved the jokes with the CIA team.

This is the second book in a series, and is probably best enjoyed when read in order. This is M/M romantic suspense series, and each book features a new couple, but most are CIA-type agents. Will Rivers is the youngest child in his nefarious crime family. In the first book, MR. AND Mr. SMITH, we learned that Will's family ran Pentasus, a corporation known for human trafficking and murder-for-hire. The situation resulted in a huge fire-fight on the Rivers' estate and an explosion that killed Will's ailing father and murderous sister. Will's not sure if his brother escaped, but the first person who finds him hiding in Paris is his bodyguard, Hunter. Hunter is a deep-cover agent from Germany's secret police. He discovered Pentasus, its activities, and the principals--the Rivers family--but Will was the sheltered bookish half-sibling who'd spent the past ten years in the US in college and grad school. He'd only returned to England to attend at his father's death bed. Hunter was immediately drawn to nerd-chic Will and the two months he spent watching him, gathering intel for the CIA co-op, were fraught with mutual attraction. They never stepped past the boundaries: Will was afraid any liaison would make him weak in front of his feuding siblings, and Hunter wasn't sure he could stomach any physical contact with Will if he was directly involved in Pentasus. Now, however, Will claims he wants nothing to do with Pentasus or his tainted legacy. That doesn't mean he's free to go. No, there are factions who are pushing Will to take up his family's mantle--if only as a figurehead. There's millions at stake, and Will's not sure which side Hunter is on...until the CIA comes a-callin'. I liked this one better than the first book in this series. Will and Hunter have had a long time of close interaction for a slow burn to develop. We already knew there was something going on in the first book, so stepping in at their beginning is really easy. Also, we know that Will's a decent guy from the start. Hunter doesn't want to fall for him and isn't convinced Will's completely innocent, but the more they battle to gain Will's freedom, the more Hunter learns he can't step back. It's a fast-paced, romantic thriller with very high stakes. There are lots of room for double and triple-crosses, but the heart of the story is two solitary men finding solace and support. We get a return of deep-cover CIA agents Fisher and Alex, from the first book, as well as Seth who takes a front-stage role here--so I expect he'll be the focus of another/the next book in this series, if it continues. Expect bullets, backstabbing, back-biting, big men posturing, late night heart-to-hearts, love and sexytimes. And an HEA.

This is book two in the Tough Love series and picks up where book one ended. I recommend you read book one to get a better understanding, but can be read alone but I guarantee you will go and read book one. A fantastic read of spies, suspense, and hot m/m sex. We met Hunter and Will in the first book and now we get their story. There is an intense attraction between the two but can they trust each other, especially when bullets start to fly. I highly recommend this story, fair warning, you will not be able to put down once started.

I have to say that I don't know who I liked more, Will or Hunter, they were both great characters and they each brought something unique to the relationship. Hunter is part of the German intelligence that is working with the CIA in order to bring down one of the biggest crime syndicates around, the unfortunate part about that is that it's Will's family (Dad, Brother, and sister). While Will has never had any part of the "family business" he has reaped the rewards of it by attending private schools and having money at his disposal but Will would gladly give it all up to be with Hunter. This story has a lot of Action packed scenes as well as steamy sexy times. We get to see all the guys from Mr. and Mr. Smith again and dare I say that Fisher and Hunter are actually getting along in this story. I'm curious as to whom will be the next one to get their HEA..... ***I have received this book from Random House Publishing Group - Loveswept through netgalley in exchange for my honest review***

I have to say that this book was a surprise. While I was expecting a typical M/M hook up, the author gave us a suspenseful mafia style read with plenty of heated action between the two guys and loads of action between the rest of the guys. With an interesting storyline, we are thrust into the world of undercover agents and the mafia wheeling and dealing. With surprising characters in Will and Hunter, the thrills and stress of the surroundings and situations caused plenty of of opportunity for some hot and sexy scenes. One thing that was a bit odd was that I never felt overly connected to one character or another. While I enjoyed the read, the fact is that some events did not ring true to life. I know that there would be no affection during a standoff and a true agent would not be bearing his soul while on the job. Something was missing and I felt a disconnect between me and the characters. This book was entertaining but for me it was just okay. * copy received for review purposes

This story began in Mr. and Mr. Smith, but it is not necessary to read it to enjoy this book. Hunter was under cover as Will's bodyguard when things went wrong. This story starts with Hunter finding Will as Will left him a trail. They finally admit their feelings as danger comes to their doorstep. Fears and distrust make it harder as bullets fly. I enjoyed the honesty both Will and Hunter show each other to move forward with their relationship. I recommend this story. Sexy, suspenseful - kept me on the edge of my seat. This is the second book in the Tough Love series but it can be read as a standalone with no problem. Characters from the first book do make a significant contribution to this story but I don’t think you will feel lost if you haven’t read it. In The Talented Mr. Rivers, Ms. Dimon once again tells a gripping story. Will Rivers’ father, sister and brother are truly evil people. Somehow Will managed to escape the family “business” but he wasn’t completely oblivious to what was going on. Hunter, an undercover German agent working with the CIA, was assigned to be Will’s bodyguard by his sister. His mission is to infiltrate the Pentasus organization so that it can be brought down. When Will’s family home explodes in a ball of fire, with Will and his brother and sister inside, Hunter frantically searches for him to no avail. The sister is found dead but there is no trace of Will or his brother. Hunter’s personal mission becomes finding Will; they have unfinished business. The sexual tension between Will and Hunter was there before the fire but Hunter couldn’t let anything happen; he was on a mission and couldn’t let personal feelings interfere. Once Hunter locates Will things begin to change. Hunter still has a mission to accomplish, however; he must help the CIA bring down Pentasus, the organization that Will’s family started. Will is conflicted, he knows that Pentasus must be stopped but he still mourns the loss of his sister who helped to protect him when he was younger and kept him away from the family business. Hunter doesn’t like that he feels so much for Will; it’s interfering with his mission to bring down Pentasus. The Talented Mr. Rivers is full of suspense, intrigue and sexual tension. Will doesn’t know that Hunter is a spy but he knows that something isn’t quite right about how he shows up. This story was a nice change of pace from the more romance focused stories I usually read. Don’t fear though, there is plenty of sexual tension and romance; it just isn’t in your face as much as some books are. I hope there will be more books in this series. The Talented Mr. Rivers is the second novel in HelenKay Dimon's End of the Line/Tough Love series. I would recommend reading the first in the series before this one because the plot line follows where the last book left off. You will be seeing a lot of the same characters in this book. This book is about secret agents and a crime family so you can expect there to be some violence. I ended up liking this one a little more than the first one. Will is the youngest member of the Rivers crime family, and Hunter was hired to be his bodyguard by the family. Right away there is a lot of sexual tension between the characters. Will doesn't trust Hunter and knows he is hiding something. What he doesn't know is that Hunter is a secret agent that is trying to take down his family. Hunter also doesn't trust Will because he is unsure if Will is like his family. I thought the suspense in the story was well written and I had a hard time putting it down. I really ended up loving these two together. There was a lot of chemistry, which made for some steamy scenes, but it I thought the suspense and love story was balanced really well. There wasn't too much of either. Hunter was really protective of Will and you could feel his struggle of trying to remember his mission versus his growing feelings for Will. There were also a few times that I wanted to shake Hunter for being a big dummy. lol! There were so many moments when I wanted to scream, "Just talk to each other!". * I received an ARC of this title via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own. *

This is the second book in the End of the Line series and I highly recommend you read these in order. This book picks up a couple of weeks after the Mr. and Mr. Smith ends and the storyline continues on from there. It's great because we not only get Hunter and Will's story but we also get a bit more of the characters from the prior book. We first met Hunter and Will in Mr. and Mr. Smith and the intense attraction between the two was obvious. The real question for both men is can they trust the other? This story is just as action packed as the first and the steamy sexy times will have you fanning yourself. This is definitely a book I recommend.

THE TALENTED MR. RIVERS is book two in HelenKay Dimon’s action-packed Tough Love series, and this time it’s the enigmatic German intelligence service agent Hunter Cain who finds love with Will Rivers. I couldn’t wait for these two to get together, and I was thrilled at the outcome. Will and Cain don’t have it easy, and they’re not easy to love either, as both have terrible trust issues, which is not surprising considering their respective families. Although this book can be read as a standalone, some subtleties will be lost to new readers when it comes to the Rivers family and their horrendous organisation, the Pentasus, however the romance and action more than make up for it. I really enjoyed the romance in THE TALENTED MR. RIVERS; I felt the emotions and the conflicts that Will and Hunter experienced felt genuine, and I really cared for them. It was not sappy, I felt that it really was happening between two men, and neither of them felt like a female character in disguise, if you will. And Will, O Will! He is one of the best characters ever written; so complex, so real. I could see him, hear him; Will is a marvellous character that exceeded all the expectations I had, and then some. And that cover: it totally reflects the mood of the book; genius! THE TALENTED MR. RIVERS is a gay romantic suspense where everything rang true! (But what is Hunter Cain’s real name? That still remains a mystery…) I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
