I was skeptical about this book when asked by my HS Creative Writing teacher to read it 2 weeks before the author visited our class. I put off starting the book until I HAD to get it read, but once I began reading I found I couldn't put the book down! I read it twice, and didn't want to give it back when the time was up! Elizabeth was a character I could relate to easily. The emotions in this story often matched my own experiences. The book is currently out of print, but is well worth hunting down if you can locate it.
