Originally published in 1975 to critical acclaim, Thirteen continues to redefine the picture book experience. In this most unusual picture book, 13 separate stories simultaneously unfold over 13 double-page spreads. Each is a flight of fancy seen from a child's eye, where little things are large enough to shine with drama and wonder. Full-color illustrations. An ALA Notable Book and New York Times Outstanding Book of the Year.
