From the best selling series, Something So comes the spin-off Series This is...

When you grow up surrounded by hockey players you know one thing for sure, I was never going to settle down with one.

Heck, I didn't even know what icing was. I was too busy climbing the corporate ladder, becoming one of the most successful realtors in New York City.

I wasn't interested in dating or anything that got in my way.

First, he was my client and then he became my friend.

My parents told me I skated before I walked.
When I was eighteen I was drafted into the N.H.L third overall, playing in Los Angeles—the city of dreams.
What more could I ask for? I played hard, but eventually, I partied even harder.

Five years later I was traded a week after I entered rehab.

There was no time for anything except my health and making sure I'd come out on top. I had to be better.
There wasn't another option.

One of the rules of recovery was 'don't fall in love' and I made it a top priority. She was off limits in every single way.

Until it was too late

One night, one decision, one act can derail everything.

When push comes to shove, I'm only certain that, This is Wild.

I loved everything about this book. From start to finish Natasha Madison wove such an engaging story that I couldn’t help but be hooked. Natasha Madison has written a gritty story, one which is realistic and confronting. I commend her handling and the fact that she has not glossed over the issues that an addict faces on a daily basis. It will draw you in and captivate you from the first to the last page. Zoe Stone has no time for anything but building a successful career as a realtor in New York city. Having been surrounded by ice hockey all her life, the last thing she ever expected was to fall for a hockey player. Let alone a player fighting addiction. Viktor is the bad boy that Zoe falls for. He has played hard both on and off the ice until it all comes crashing down. Now after a stint in rehab, he knows the time has come to face his addictions. Being traded he is about to start on a new path of self discovery. Despite both Zoe and Viktor being determined not to, their friendship slowly morphs in to so much more. The chemistry between Viktor and Zoe was off the charts and so smoking hot. I fell hard and fast for Viktor, not only is he hot, but he is totally swoon worthy and I wanted him to overcome the demons that had led to his addiction. There were times that I felt his pain, such was the emotion that was rung from me. Viktor and Zoe were a great pairing and I really wanted them to get their happily ever after, although at times I feared they wouldn’t. A story of friendship, addiction, love and family This is Wild left me with a book hangover.

I learned a lot about a person's struggle with addiction from this story, all in the context of Zoe and Vyktor's relationship. This is maybe the 7th story I've read by this author, and I think it might even be my favorite. I'd recommend it.

What can I possibly say about this INSANELY good book baby that Natasha Madison has birthed??!! To say that it's emotionally riveting, at times heart-breaking, always sexy and absolutely unforgettable is just the bare minimum to cover everything Zoe and Viktor's story made me feel while reading This Is Wild!!!It's PERFECTLY, SHOCKINGLY REAL and delivered in such a way that ONLY Ms. Madison can! This Is Wild is so beautifully written, so heart-poundingly sensual. so flirty and funny...such a slow-burn-how-can-we-be-just-friends-when-I-want-to-jump-your-bones type of romance that wraps around your very heart and soul! Especially when you weren't expecting it...when you were expecting something light and fluffy and you get soul-searing angst and drama along with the light and fluffy! Viktor's journey to sobriety is heartrendingly real and Zoe's helplessness makes it even MORE real! Her strength and character are AMAZING and I love her just as much, or more, than I love Viktor! The hilarious banter between the Horton clan and their significant others (who we've met previously in other books, but you can TOTALLY read the This Is series as standalones from the others...I DO strongly urge you to read Zara and Evan's EPICALLY romantic and hilarious love story in This Is Crazy first, tho!) had me laughing so loud (and sighing at all the ALPHA-ness that abounds in all these books!!!) This Is Wild is, in my opinion, Natasha Madison's BEST BOOK to date (I think I've said that with every single book she's written, but it's the truth!!!) and it's ANOTHER MUST READ!!! She is one of those authors' that can go from hilariously funny one minute to having you ugly crying the next....and LOVING every single second of it all, coming back for more time after time after time again! This Is Wild is an UNFORGETTABLE ROLLER-COASTER RIDE OF A READ that will stay with you for a long time after finishing...I can't WAIT for my spirit-character Vivienne's book, This Is Love coming up next!!! 5 THIS is BLISSFULLY UNFORGETTABLE Stars!!!

3.5 stars This is a very slow burn style romance (which I normally love). I totally get why, as Victor had a LOT of work to do for himself before going there with Zoe. This is definitely a more serious romance than some others by this author so be prepared for that. I enjoyed the story and was happy I read it however there was a lot of the story that didn't seem so much of a romance, more just a general fiction style I said, slow burn. I did enjoy seeing the relationship grow between the two of them however there was a lot on the angsty side - so be prepared. I would still recommend reading it though - especially if you've read all the others in the series! Don't want to miss out on anything!

This Is Wild scored a winning goal in my heart! A beautiful story about overcoming your past mistakes, even though you still have to overcome the temptation every minute of every day.

This series gets better and better with each book. Viktor was a complicated character but was a pleasure to watch him come into his own. Zoe and Viktor start out as friends, but it is so much more. This book shows you the power of love and finding redemption even when you think you don't deserve it.

There really needs to be 6 stars for books like this. This book was AMAZING. I don’t even know where to start. The chemistry between these two was off the charts from the start. I LOVED that they built up a friendship before going in to a relationship. We got to fall in love with them, and see them fall while battling demons. This book had me in tears at a lot of points, and had me cracking up at others (no surprise at the laughs, considering who the entire secondary character cast is ) If you read one book this year, this needs to be it!!!

I have to say this was a real cracking read and one I struggled to put down when real life came calling. I adore slow build relationships and this book was just right. Viktor was a recovering addict and Zoe was an absolute spit fire but at the same time really crying out for someone to love, even, if she didn't known it. It was for this reason that the build up between them was just perfect and their chemistry and relationship just built from the foundation of friendship. This is Wild was packed full of emotion and feels, it had just the right amount of drama and angst and there was plenty of humor running throughout too. 4.5 stars

I.AM.SPEECHLESS This author can do it all and she succeeds in all, insta-love, funny, heartbreaking, lighthearted, suspense just everything but this, this one tops them all. This read was about dealing with being a Recovering Addict and she took us along for all 12 steps. It hurt, it healed. This isn't your normal the perfect women comes in and everything goes right and perfect Nope it was more real. It was Viktor learning and dealing to be himself, his clean self, "How can he love a woman if he can't love himself." Zoe my sweet Zoe was a fantastic character she was so strong and just the absolute best friend and best sister you could ask for. She did not go into this with a relationship in mind it just slowly but surely over time she fell. She couldn't do it alone, Gah I am getting teary-eyed just thing about it. I loved that this series is al Family series we always get to catch up and see glimpses of all the past and fingers crossed future characters. This book just worked flawlessly with everyone's flaws, it was smooth and not rushed, and just I can't say enough this one is going to stay with me for a while. I really think we are gonna need Thirsty Viviane after this.

Wow! I really wish there were more than 5 stars to give because this book deserves more! Natasha Madison I honestly think this is my favorite book of yours! I ❤️Viktor so much and felt like I was right there through his struggles and that is such a testament to your writing skills. Zoe is an amazing woman who comes into Viktor's life at exactly the right time despite the rules of recovery. Addiction is a savage beast and it was gut wrenching at times to watch Viktor struggle but to see him slay that demon was triumphant! I am absolutely blown away by all the emotions this book made me feel. My heart! Just Wow!! So happy that so much good came from so much bad. Viktor & Zoe’s story is absolutely phenomenal!

This Is Wild is absolute perfection. I mean, this book slayed me in all the right ways. I’m talking cue the tears and hold my heartstrings because I just couldn’t get enough of this angsty story. From the moment I started reading This Is Wild, I knew this book was going to be special. Viktor and Zoe captivated me instantly. Their story is real, raw and oh so satisfying. Zoe is the total package. She’s beautiful, smart and sassy. She has a huge and generous heart and doesn’t date hockey players. Then we have Viktor. Viktor was on top of the world in LA. Living the life and partying. Five years later, all that partying will catch up to him and before he knows it, he’ll find himself at rock bottom. His world has been turned upside down and changes will need to be made. He’s been offered a second chance. He’s just got to pull himself out of the dark and take it….. This Is Wild is an emotional second chance romance. This emotional read will put your emotions through the paces and deliver all the feels. This story is intense at times and deals with some very real, very raw subject matter. Viktor’s fight is not for the faint of heart, and I couldn’t help but be in awe of his strength and determination. He wasn’t perfect, but was determined to become a better man. I loved the way he felt about Zoe. He liked her, but knew that his recovery needed to come first. He didn’t want to make promises that he couldn’t keep. The chemistry and pull between Viktor and Zoe was just everything. I loved watching their friendship develop and see their journey unfold. This Is Wild is the kind of story that will leave you breathless and begging for more. Viktor and Zoe’s story is consuming and will have you devouring all of the words. This Is Wild was a wonderful book to spend my day getting swept up in. I loved every second of Viktor and Zoe’s story and I know that it’s one that will be staying with me…

Gritty, emotional and raw! My first read by Natasha Madison did NOT disappoint! With a powerful story of recovery and redemption, we go along for the ride for a pro hockey player’s return to the game after crashing and burning in front of millions of people. He’s a good guy but doesn’t think much of himself … she’s sassy and self-assured and can easily see he’s top of the line. They vow to be friends, but the sexy looks and connected feelings continue to get the best of them at every social outing they attend. The characters and supporting cast were all really fun to get to know. They’re a close knit group of friends which brings an emotional depth to the dialogue that really strikes a chord with the reader. Really enjoyed Viktor’s story and look forward to more in the series! Realtor Zoe Stone had no interest in slowing her rise to the top down to be bothered with mundane things like dating. She’s at the top of her game and nothing is going to get in her way … especially a hockey player! Viktor Petrov is newly out of rehab and shocked that a team was even willing to pick him up for the season after the spectacle he made of himself at the end of the previous season. He has to buckle down and make sure he’s all in for this second chance … it has to be all about him and his health 24/7. Until he meets her … the sassy go-getter who vows she hates hockey. He’s so tempted by her that he can’t see straight. They agree to friend zone each other … but temptation is strong … oh so strong.

A 'wild' story unlike any other. From the opening pages of This Is Wild (Book 2 in the ‘This Is’ series) by Natasha Madison, I knew I was in for a very different story than I was expecting. It brings everything to the table and doesn’t hold back. It’s moving, emotional, and hard-hitting. It’s also sexy and fun. Viktor Petrov is a recovering addict, he doesn’t sugar-coat this fact, and neither does Natasha. In fact, it plays a very major role in the entire story. We get to see the world through his pained and sorrowful eyes. His guilt and shame, his desire to be a better man. To be clean. And nothing makes that wish more desperate or more despairing than when he meets Zoe. He struggles with the feelings she evokes in him. He’s barely three months out of rehab and he knows the rules about hooking up, dating and having a relationship. Zoe is as instantly attracted to Viktor. But, she doesn’t date hockey players or clients and as it turns out, he’s both. But, fight as they do, the chemistry between them only grows thicker as they spend more time in each others company, it’s a slow, slow-burning battle. It let us see the dark truth behind the veil of addiction. The fear, the self-recrimination. But, it also showed how love can shine a light into that blackness. How it can bring life from bleakness and soothe those jagged edges of a lost soul. Zoe and Viktor’s story wasn’t without its challenges, breakups and disappointments. It was real, brutal, it hurt. It wrecked me in the best way possible. I cried, but I also laughed at some of the less gritty moments. Zoe and Zara as twins make an awesome sisterhood. And in their friends and sisters and brothers and was a smorgasbord of fun. I loved how the story finished but it was a true rollercoaster of feels to get there.

Absolutely loved Viktor and Zoe. So this book does not shy away from the struggles of addiction. And Viktor's staunch resolution to become whole before pursuing Zoe will drive you insane. "Tomorrow is not something you can change, but today, today is the day to change what you would have done differently yesterday." This book had it all - sweetness, struggle, heartstopping moments, hockey, love, romance, heat, the bonds of family and everything in between. This can be read as a stand alone, but I will be going back to the Something So series to catch up for sure! And the end of the book is quite the treat for many reasons. This series just keeps getting better. Grab it today! I voluntarily requested and read an advance reader copy.
