Haylee Tremayne is tired of the road. The concert tour for Three of Hearts was a success, but the puzzling tension between her bandmates, Ben and Lucas, is getting old. They all need some time off. Too bad it's Christmas...for Hayley, it's the most terrible time of the year.

But the day of their last concert, she discovers she's been dumped by her boyfriend for a sexy girly-girl. Story of her life—all guys ever see is tomboy Haylee. At the after-concert party, she drowns her sorrows and—desperate to feel feminine and desired for once in her life—asks Ben and Lucas for a threesome. And it's just as hot and sexy and fun as she'd hoped.

Back in Nashville, Ben and Lucas work on proving that one night wasn't a mistake, and it's amazing. But the strain between the two of them is mounting, while Haylee's own anxiety about Christmas continues to grow. The spirit of Christmas is supposed to be love, but as emotions run high and tension builds, they might be putting everything at risk...their band, their success, and worst of all...each other.

First I am fan of my fellow Winnipegger, Kelly Jamieson and this was a quick, sweet yet steamy M/M/F, M/F/M little book. Haylee is in band with her roommates and best friends, Ben and Lucas. After being dumped for someone else Ben and Lucas try to make her feel better and what a better way to do that but with a threesome. After one night Ben and Lucas want more but Haylee's insecurities, issues and self doubt get in the way, but it's not the only thing. As Ben and Lucas seem to be having issues of their own. This little experiment turns out to be so much more. As there are so many emotions on the table but once it's all out in the open they can finally find their happiness. It was quick, sweet and steamy. Not a huge amount of substance but was basically a novella so it is hard to put that much in such a short read.

This is a difficult review for me to write because I am still unsure how I feel about this book overall. I liked the overall storyline, and the characters, but I still had a large disconnect between it all. I did like Haylee’s character overall. She was a very strong woman, but also at the same time she had a sense of insecurity to her. Which I did think added to the story completely. I don’t like woman who are all “super woman without any fears” because it’s not reality. So I did enjoy that the author added that to her. I thought the men’s characters, Ben and Lucas, were both really well balanced. They each had their strengths and weaknesses as well. I do think that they ended up being a really good match for Haylee, but I just felt like there was just something missing from the trio. Sounds strange I know, but that’s just what it was like for me. Overall, I would say that if you’re looking for a read in this genre, then you should really give this book a try. Don’t let my disconnect stop you from getting this book. I will be sure to read other books by this author in the future for sure though. This menage Christmas romance is the story of Haylee, Ben and Lucas. Bandmates and friends, they've always connected musically. When the opportunity arises to explore a more intimate relationship Haylee is ready - but will this new twist make them grow closer together or ultimately split them apart? I enjoyed this sexy and fun read. I liked hearing the story from Haylee's point of view. She comes across as a genuinely fun and down to earth young woman and her internal monologue reactions to what transpires with her, Ben and Lucas made me laugh. She's the innocent one of the three so this is all new territory for her. But I also found that the dynamics of the two men were equally as interesting as they explored a new side to their relationship too. Together the three of them find that while they've been making music, real feelings have developed over the course of their time together. It was nice to see a happy ending for all involved. 4 stars!

The world of music and ménage collide in this quick and steamy read where a trio of musicians finally give into the sexual tension that's been permeating their relationship. When a night of decadent delights gives way to doubts and insecurities will one night lead to the end of their beautiful music or lead to something more? As a fan of stories set in the music world I was drawn to this book from the first page to the last as it gave insight into the intricacies of being a star as well as the downside. It's not all glitz and glamour when issues of body image, relationships, and unwanted obligations arise. For Haylee, all three of these issues weigh heavily on her and after a night of drinking she gives into her two bandmate's offers of comfort. Haylee has always felt inferior and not pretty with her sports-toned body and hatred of getting dressed up. She's always been the friend to men and nothing more. Her own father saw her as a means to an end when it came to music. Having her boyfriend cheat on her blatantly is the last straw and when two gorgeous men seek to make her feel special for one night, who wouldn't grasp at that?! In the light of day though, reality comes crashing down and truths must come out if they ever hope to stay together. Ben and Lucas are both very sexy but different in their looks and demeanors. Lucas is fun loving and full of energy with sensuality that radiates off him. He looks like a golden angel but is an expert at talking dirty and says whatever's on his mind. He likes to take command and is the one who keeps them focused. Ben is darker in his looks and temperament and tends to be moody, he's better at giving comfort as he's more in-tune with feelings. He's more likely to look before he leaps. They're both in love with Haylee but have held back as they know she fears what the truth might do to their band. Sexual tension has always hovered around them but by giving into it deeper, and unacknowledged, feelings arise that must be addressed in a moment of heartbreak that they deal with in a refreshingly adult way. This is a super sexy and straightforward story with only a bit of conflict. The issues of a ménage relationship are discussed but don't really get dealt with as the story ends with a HEA before things get truly complicated. The characters are likable though, the sexual encounters hot and nicely spaced throughout the story, with a nice flow that makes for an enjoyable read. While it's nothing groundbreaking it makes for a pleasant and decadently delightful way to spend a few hours.
