Overview

"A wonderful finish to a spectacular series."
"Epic! What a way to finish!"
"Crazy beautiful."* Goodreads reviewers

"I am fire. I am destruction. I will be their nightmare."

The veil fell. Demons are here. Muse knows she can stop the slaughter, but to do so, she must return to the battle-scarred streets of Boston and face the cold, hard, truth. Her old life is ashes. Her love, turned to dust. But all is not lost; a spark of hope remains. A spark from which an inferno can blaze.

To stop the demons claiming Earth as their own, Muse must unite those capable of repairing the veil. The Dark Court, led by her Prince of Lust father, seek to recruit her to their cause. They want the veil destroyed for good; for chaos to reign for eternity. She will need to maneuver around their deadly intentions and enlist the King of Hell's help, before it's too late.

For Muse to succeed, she must survive her father, save her soul, resurrect her love, forgive her enemies, and betray a trust. She must be everything she can be—demon and human. She must be their nightmare.

I just finished this final book of the series and it was so good! The entire series was incredible! I definitely binge read it all. I wish Muse's metal reading power had been more involved/prominent throughout the series. It was in the first book, but it was kind of added into the very last chapter of this book almost as an afterthought. I also felt Muse's extremely complicated relationship with Akil took away from her relationship with Stefan. For me, it felt like Stefan was forced in there. Either way, it's my new favorite series!! I can't wait to read more from this author!

In case you are wondering why there aren't any reviews...i added this to my nook library. Started to read it and the first page of every chapter is missing. Contacted barnes and noble after restarting my nook, syncing my library, archiving and unarchiving and repeating the process and not getting anywhere with customer service. I went into the store. Showed the rep. Who then tried the before mentioned process with no success. Got in contact with customer service again. To discover that I was not incorrect and it was an issue with the actual book. Fyi this ebook is a corrupted file. I was informed in a couple weeks it would be fixed. If not, I will be very much disappointed and hope Im not given the same run around I dealt with over this past week.
