Between the years 1940-1970, more than five million African-Americans left the South. Edward and Algie Clover of Dublin, Georgia (along with their three daughters and Algie's mother) joined that great migration. Arriving in Ohio just as decades of civil wrongs were changing into civil rights, they witnessed history, but never allowed it to get in the way of living.
