This book is written by a British author and clearly intended for a British audience or for readers extremely familiar with British slang / terminology. Also, the writing is very choppy and full of overstuffed sentences -- situational descriptions forced into sentences instead of incorporated into the natural conversation of the characters.

I was not familiar with this author but I look forward to reading her next. For those who like a sweet romance and especially a royal twist, this is your book! Banter, thoughtful plot and human characters....you will not want it to end! Most highly recommend...five stars just are not enough!

I enjoyed this book. It was a fun read and the characters are well written and consistent. Wish there was a little more to the end of the story so we know how she adjusts to royal life! Maybe a second book?+ :-)

I really enjoyed this book! It has an equal amount of romance and family drama.

What a fun, happy romance. It kept me turning the pages late into the night. I'd reccommend this as a great get away from reality book. The story was as charming as the modern day Prince that the very ordinary, but extraordinary Bella Greenwood falls in love with. Jp

I really enjoyed this book. I see that others have written that it had British slang but it was easy to understand what they were referring to.  I would recommend this book it was a quick read and made me smile.

I really enjoyed this book! It takes place with a different royal family in the U.K., but it stays true to a lot of the themes of marrying out of your class. I thought the characters were fun and seemed...real? I guess. I know one reviewer complained that it was written for a British audience. As an American, I could usually figure out what the other words meant through context.

If you like chick lit or are interested in the royals, this should be up your alley. It's light, it's fluffy, you know what will happen in the end, but that certainly doesn't mean that you can't enjoy the ride! Sometimes in chick lit I truly hate some of the characters, but I found all of them to be likeable and relatable, especially as a few layers were uncovered. Perfect for a summer beach read.

Ms. Page keep the pace of the book interesting. I read the book overnight and didn't stopped until I had finished it.

After getting through the first chapter or so it turned out to be a page turner. The writing could have been edited a bit better. And you get lost if your not up on british slang (which Im not). The reason i only gave 3 stars is for the ending. Perhaps the worst ending to this book. I didnt feel the closure. It felt like there should have been another chapter or two or at least an epilogue.

I saw an started reading. It got my attention an held it from beginning to end. .. The use of fairytale, romance, drama, intrigue, an how some people use and abuse the internet. The antics were funny. It was a great read luv the characters even Lady Pansy.

Pretty decent considering the theme which has been done to death. Really felt like the relationship was real. I did feel like there should be a sequel. Alot of loose ends that didnt seem to get resolution.

Sophie Page did a lovely job capturing this modern day cinderella story. I look forward to her next writing efforts.
