The risk is worth it. Maybe that's the underlying theme for all romances. In real life, we each risk a lot by putting ourselves out there for that one person in hopes they reciprocate our feelings, in hopes there is more than just great sex and good times. Regardless of how we meet The One, the chance we take is worth what we gain. I can't say the way Lucia and Cade met is unusual. Masquerades are one of my favorite settings. It's the chance to let loose without anyone knowing who you really are. But it's what the masks hide that make the characters and the story different from others. Lucia's scars have kept her from so much because that's all people saw. Visiting Vegas was a break from her normal life, a chance to don a stunning gown and wear a concealing mask and be a braver version of herself. She hadn't counted on meeting Cade, on him seeing the beauty behind the scars, on him helping her see what he saw. She hadn't counted on losing her heart to man she just met who made her, for the first time in a long time, feel alive. But Cade hadn't counted on those things either. Watching over Lucia was supposed to be a favor for a friend, and the woman he was supposed to watch over was supposed to be quiet and shy. The woman he met wasn't either of those things. Lucia was gorgeous, her beauty shining from the inside and obliterating the ugliness of the past she wore so plainly on her face. She didn't just steal his heart; she became his every fantasy brought to life. Their relationship wasn't built on complete truths, and it took some working on to make the shaky foundation of their relationship solid. But the risks they took--Lucia in revealing herself to Cade, Cade coming clean about why he was in Vegas to begin with, both of them realizing what they shared was worth keeping--were worth it. They lost their hearts to each other and gained a love that was unconditional and all-consuming. Worth it? *smiles* Definitely. (Received from NetGalley via Tasty Book Tours for an honest review)

4.5 Stars The story is an extremely sexy, sweet romance between a Navy SEAL on leave in Las Vegas and a woman with scars on the inside and the outside, who only wanted to have a steamy night of anonymous pleasure. Cade is exactly what Lucia needed. You can't rush love but Cade and Lucia have proven that you can't slow it down either. This is a well written romance and I can't wait to read more from this very talented author. I was not compensated for my review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed is my own.

My Thoughts: Lucia is determined to fulfill some fantasies on her list, so she decides to go to Las Vegas and get them checked off that list. When she meets Cade, she doesn't know that he was sent to keep her safe. He knows that Lucia's sister, Natalie, would kick his butt if he tried to do anything with Lucia other than protect her. It doesn't take long before he crosses the line and volunteers to help her take care of the items on her list. Lucia just has one stipulation: The mask stays on. But at one point it comes off and Cade gets a glimpse of her scars. She thinks he'll be like everyone else--unable to look at her the same. Lucia is getting under his skin, though, regardless of what the mask was hiding. When she finds out why he was really there, how will she react? To Tempt a SEAL is a tempting treat you have to taste. I loved the dynamic between these two--it was extremely sexy and very sweet. Cade obviously finds Lucia beautiful and he's willing to show her exactly how beautiful she is. Talk about a swoonworthy guy! They both were cheeky and adorable, and talk about fan yourself scenes. Holy whoa and a half! This is the kind of story you wouldn't mind revisiting because it gives you some feels and lots of romance. Definitely interested in more by Sara Jane Stone! My Rating: Very Good

The first in the new Sin City SEALs series kicks off with a bang in a whirlwind Vegas weekend. Lucia just wants to ‘get away’ and become someone else for a weekend: she’s never really settled her past issues of abuse, and she’s allowed that to constrain her. But, a naughty to-do list with the promise of a masquerade ball in Las Vegas just may be the diversion and kick-start she needs to move forward. Her sister, Natalie, isn’t entirely on board with her sister’s plans, so she makes arrangements. Cade is a SEAL, and best friends of Natalie. He agrees to help his friend out by watching over her sister Lucia during her weekend in Vegas: make sure that Lucia doesn’t get in trouble. Cade’s certain this is an easy assignment: he doesn’t want complications and isn’t right for a relationship: his father’s military career tore his family apart – so he won’t have one of those. Approaching Lucia as part of his deal with her sister, Cade realizes that there is far more to this woman, and she intrigues him like no one has in forever. While he shouldn’t get involved, it doesn’t seem as if he has another choice: she is beautiful and deserves to be shown it in every way possible. While Lucia can’t believe the comfort and confidence she feels at Cade’s side. As they open up to one another, readers are drawn to these characters: so similar yet different, and you want to see them make those steps to a relationship. While I did find the development of the relationship a bit on the ‘insta-love’ side of things, these characters were compelling and solidly voiced: their issues were not minor, yet not so extensive that the relationship seemed impossible because of them. Their chemistry was palpable, and several moments fogged up my eReader! Most importantly, although they both claimed to ‘not want more’ their super-secret wish was to have a shot at a happy and fulfilling life, and sometimes, wishes do come true I received an eArc copy of the title from the publisher via NetGalley for purpose of honest review I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.

Reviewed for Read Your Writes Book Reviews by Kim Very few books have the ability to have me liking the characters and enjoying the story from the very beginning. I was surprised that Sara Jane Stone did just that even though she is a new author to me. To Tempt a SEAL takes the best friend/sibling troupe and gives it a little twist. In this case, Cade Daniels and Natalie Lewis are best friends and Cade ultimately falls for Natalie’s younger sister, Lucia. After the death of their parents, the Lewis sisters went from foster home to foster home. When the girls were seventeen and sixteen, their lives again changed in an unimaginable way. As a result, the two grew apart but still maintained a relationship. The two don’t really see each other since Lucia lives in Tennessee and Natalie lives in California. They call, text, and email but they don’t really have a grasp of who the other is on a daily basis. When Lucia tells Natalie she plans to go to Vegas and live out some of her fantasies with a complete stranger, Natalie freaks out. She convinces Cade to look out for Lucia since he’s going to be in town visiting his father. “So Cade, did you come for the art or the chocolate?” “Gorgeous, I came to find you.” Oh, Lord, and so it begins..... Lucia has no idea Cade is actually there to find and look out for her. Cade has no idea Lucia is a beautiful tempting vixen who’s a little bit insecure. Lucia isn’t looking for anything past her weekend in Vegas. Cade doesn’t do relationships since the SEALs are his life. He has first hand experience that his job isn’t conducive to having a true relationship. These two are so great together with their playful back and forth and their sizzling chemistry. Sara Jane has given me everything I love in a Brazen romance, from the hot, to die for hero, to the likeable, insecure heroine, to the steamy bedroom (or lounge chair or shower) action, to wonderful secondary characters I can’t wait to read more about. Sara Jane definitely has a new fan in me. **Received a copy from Entangled Brazen in exchange for an honest unbiased opinion.**

Very sexy story about fulfilling your fantasies, if only for one weekend, and forgetting about the realities of life for just a moment. Lucia and Cade set out for a wild weekend in Vegas, with a list of sexual fantasies to fulfill. Lucia is hiding her scars behind the mask, Cade is hiding the fact that his best friend, and Lucia's sister, send him there to look after her. The connection, chemistry, and attraction is palpable and believable between them, the lust, hunger, and craving for each other nearly out of control. The heat level is high, as they play out one fantasy after another. It wasn't part of the plan, to share about their life, past, and pain. But as the mask comes off, it is inevitable. The more they share, the more feelings get into the picture. And Cade's secret is revealed. I liked how the conflict was played off in the story, not overly exposing it. The whirlwind romance between Cade and Lucia is rabid, wild and luscious. It is well written, and flows off the pages. The epilogue giving deeper look to the true feelings, making the love and devotion between them seem more believable. A sensual, passion filled story ~ Three Spoons with a teaspoon on the side

Tempt is is a great summer read. BRING me a Seal like Cade I received an ARC copy from the publisher in exchange for my honest review. Such emotional story, one that rips at your heart and makes you grab a box of Kleenex while cheering at the same time. Social worker Lucia Lewis has scars given to her by a foster father. She feels that she is hideous so she never has never been one to get attention of the male persuasion ; She lost weight, psyched herself up to do something very daring and went to Las Vegas where everyone knows what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. She gets herself this lovely mask – the mask the type Marti Gras style- will cover the scars so that when she picks up this sexy, handsome, anonymous man, she will be able to have a wonderful night of sexual fantasies that will knock off her bucket list of sexual needs and wants. While in Vegas attending this wedding party she knows she will meet the guy who can help her with what she needs and then she runs in to Cade. He meets all her requirements. Lucia and Cade, accidentally bump into each out and the chemistry/heat between them is so off the chain that is almost melts my kindle. She finds out he is a SEAL and he definitely rescues her and they were able to do some great things between the sheets. He walked the walked and talked the talked; no matter what she wanted, he did. YUMM…. But then, see, this wasn’t an accidental meeting- this was a deliberate meeting set up by Lucia sister Natalie. She is Cade’s friend and she was worried for her younger sister and wanted her to be safe so she sent her friend to watch after her. She didn’t realize what was going to happen. Here come the twists and turns in their relationship- what happens between them and what ends up happening between Lucia and Natalie? This story really comes across as such an emotional rollercoaster. You can feel how the heroine feels and get where she is coming from- her pain and insecurity. When she finally decides to take a chance in life and decide to feel something. Then she meets someone who makes her feel more than physical, it is so wonderful and then when she realizes it was just set up, it all comes crashing down. WOW, I love how the author writes the feelings for everyone. I love how ALPHA Cade is and how he really fell in love with Lucia. How strong he is and how he agonized on not wanting to tell this woman he fell in love with the truth. On Lucia, how fragile she starts out but by the end of the book, how independent she has come and how strong and confident she has become. They still both have their weaknesses but they both became each other’s strength . I loved that and how I loved Cade and Lucia. I can’t wait to read another story in this series. I hope the author writes Natalie’s story next, for I feel her story is one to read. The ending ended on a great note and the HEA was fantastic. My rating: 4.0 stars ****

Lucia goes to Las Vegas to have a wild weekend. Cade is sent to keep an eye on her by Lucia’s sister who is Cade’s best friend. Cade can’t keep his hands off of her and that’s all it takes to start their relationship. He fulfills all of her fantasies and throws in a couple of his own. I was expecting this to be one of those books that was a good read but I was WRONG!! I fell in love with these two characters and wanted everything to work out for them throughout the whole book. All the feels, y’all! I can’t pinpoint why this story just hit all the right spots for me but it totally did. I love the sexy time because Daaaaaayum, Cade is hot but it’s the emotional upkeep that got me. It was so easy and flowed so well between Cade and Lucia that I didn’t want the book to end. That’s one of the biggest compliments that I can give a book. Copy provided in exchange for review.

To Tempt a Seal by Sara Jane Stone is a moving and touching read. It is the story of Tennessee resident Lucia Lewis, a woman who has lived almost her entire life with wicked scars on one side of her face. The protrusions cause others to stare and grimace, thus preventing Lucia from finding lust, true friendship and love. Lucia's older sister Natalie was not home the night that their foster father decided to cause permanent damage to Lucia's face, and as a result, Natalie has her own emotional demons to deal with. Luckily, Lucia's jobs as a social worker, painter, and art therapist, keep her busy and grounded. Lucia travels to Las Vegas for a mini vacation and to attend a masqueraded art gallery party. With her scars covered carefully by a venetian mask, her goal is to have a good time, find a little lust, and live out some of her sexual fantasies. No man has to know what is hidden underneath, and what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Luckily, she makes a connection with Cade Daniels, a Navy SEAL on leave who is visiting his father in his hometown. They immediately hit it off and much to Lucia's disbelief, Cade actually finds her attractive without the mask. Cade is hot, attentive and kind, and he is hiding the fact that Natalie is his best friend, and sent him to keep an eye on her. However, Cade is truly falling for Lucia, notwithstanding the circumstances. I liked this story and the sex scenes are scorching hot. However, this book had too much sex and too little story for my tastes. Ms. Stone is a very good writer and her main characters are independent, interesting and exciting. I would have liked to learn and absorb even more about them, not just their sexual fantasies. Overall, this is an engaging read, and I am looking forward to the second book in the Sin City SEALs series. Complimentary copy provided by the publisher via NetGalley.

Lucia has a scar on part of her face due to an angry step father. She feels like no man will ever want or love her. So she heads to Vegas where she can be someone else and find a man for a wild weekend. Wearing a mask, she wants to hide behind it for the duration of her weekend. Unbeknownst to her, Lucia's sister, Natalie, asks her best friend and SEAL, Cade, to go to Vegas and make sure her sister is safe. What Cade doesn't expect is to find is his desire to be the man Lucia wants for the weekend. When her mask slips during their first night together, Cade sees past it and what starts out as a weekend fling starts to turn out to be something more. But when Lucia learns what her sister has done, she feels betrayed by Cade and runs home. Another good Brazen book by Entangled Publishing. *I received this book through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Oh how I loved Lucia and Cade! This book just had such a sensual thrilling feel to me throughout the duration of the story. Not erotica but erotic. Must have been with the masks in the beginning, so mysterious, enhancing their encounters. And what encounters they were. From the discovery of her post-it notes to him telling her he was her man, major excitement and anticipation I had while reading. Cade had a way with words and I loved Lucia's responsiveness. They were pure heat together. I loved the way they opened to each other, both physically and emotionally. This was a quick read, but it was a very full read, nothing missing or felt left out. During the angsty part of the book, it was a very mature and not selfish or crazy, but very sweet (and spicy). The epilogue was outstanding and hotly romantic. I look forward to more of this series, with Lucia's sister and Cade's teammates. I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the publisher.

To Tempt a Seal by Sara Jane Stone is the first book of the new “Sin City SEALs” series and my first by this author. The basic concept of this story was actually good but I have to admit that it was again the opening of the book who spoiled the fun for me. It seems that I have an actual problem with “Instant Love”. Even if the total subject of the opening was about finding a guy for one night, his behavior seemed “off” to me. I can not describe it in any other way. For me to feel some sort of “instant love” I need to know more of the character before me than what I was offered in this case. I need to feel for them, their background – I need to feel where they are coming from . I could work with her PoV “guy for a weekend” turning into something serious - but his “instant addiction to her” was out of my reach. He was there to do “a job” and he did not even talk with her or actually see her really before he was already in “love”. I was almost putting the book down when it became actually better, they talked and there was “something” that I could “feel” but around the middle/almost end of the book it was as much as I would have expected at the beginning to start with and by far not enough to …. (well read for yourself – not going to spoiler) To make it short … Its not a bad story if you can work around the concept of “instant love” which seems to be a problem for me. The writing is good and the story itself is ok – Its an enjoyable “beach read” as I would call it … go ahead and judge for yourself > > > I have received this Book as an ARC from the Publisher > > In Exchange I promised an honest Review

Another fabulous read from Sara Jane Stone! This is a quick, steamy read that will have you hooked from the start. It is well written with a fresh element to the story. The characters are likable and the chemistry between them is scorching. There is enough background for the story to be enjoyable and to set up future stories in the Sin City SEALS novels. I can't wait to read more books in this new series! ARC received from the author in exchange for an honest review.

This sexy contemporary romance is the story of Lucia and Cade. A facial disfigurement at the hands of her foster father left Lucia with not only physical but emotional scars as well. Determined to move forward with her life, she's made a list of things she wants to accomplish, a sexual list, and a masquerade party in Vegas is the perfect place for her to hide her scars and hook up with a guy who'll see everything but them. When she meets handsome SEAL Cade, he's the dream man she's been looking for, and even when the mask comes off he sees her beauty inside and out. But when she finds out that he was sent by her sister (whom she had confided in about her wish list) to foil her plans, can she trust what they've built between them? Lucia is a friendly, quiet woman, her scars on the outside having scarred her inside too. Hiding behind a mask gives her the confidence to go after what she wants. She's used to the looks, the stares, the questions, and ignoring them, but just this once she wants to be able to forget them and have a sexy night with a stranger. She works as an art therapist, painting these beautiful canvasses to show her inner emotions. This enables her to teach others to do the same, and I thought it was a very inventive outlet and career choice for her character. Cade is a strong, handsome, sexy guy and he is instantly attracted to Lucia, physically obviously since she's dressed to kill, but emotionally as well. He likes her, and thinking the mask is part of a game, it's a game he wants to play - even at the risk of angering his best friend , Lucia's sister, who sent him to stop the whole charade. The sex is definitely what drives this story, and once the attraction between them has been established, their conversation ratchets up the heat and leads to several steamy scenes. Lucia has a list of things she wants to do with the man who'll be willing to go there with her, and Cade is all in once he finds out what's involved. I particularly liked the inventiveness of using post-it notes to detail ones fantasies, and the combination of humour and sex, to make their scenes lighthearted sometimes and deeper the next. As they knock items off her list, and then his, the emotional component of their relationship can't be ignored and they discover how much they enjoy just spending time together. Cade sees the real woman inside, scars and all and wants to protect her, wishing he could take away her insecurities and show her how beautiful she is. I loved how he treated her, how he made her feel wanted and loved. But Cade also has his own problems. He witnessed his parents marriage falling apart, and he's still an active military member, one who goes on missions and doesn't feel capable of being in a long term relationship. Only the more time he spends with Lucia, the more he wonders whether he wants to follow completely in his father's footsteps and lose out on having a real relationship. Both characters have their work cut out for them to learn to trust their hearts. Of course there is the inevitable conflict that must be overcome in order to have the proverbial happy ending. But it was done well and the overall story is minimal in angst and more a tale of two people with sexual chemistry who are good for each other. There are lots of lighthearted and humorous moments throughout. It was a very enjoyable and sexy read, and I'm hoping there will be more books to come soon in this series! 4 stars.

This book has two of my favorite romance tropes - Navy SEAL main character and set in Vegas. The sexual attraction and chemistry between Cade and Lucia was well written and the strongest part of the story. Not much substance beyond that. Conflict arc was predictable and very trope-y. I didn't find the insta-love believable. The makings of interesting character backgrounds and development were in place. I wish the author had gone further to craft a deeper story. Still, a pleasant, quick read. ARC provided by Entangled Publishing via Netgalley

4 Gorgeous, I’m your man stars Lucia Lewis is running from the person she has become. She is in Vegas and she has a list dammit. Having led a sheltered life, following a harrowing experience at the hands of her foster father, Lucia decides now is the time to open up, jump on, hold tight and see what is in store for her, especially at a masked ball. Who knows who she might find. Cade Daniels is a Navy Seal, just like his Dad, and he knows his profession of choice leaves very little time or energy for relationships. However, his best friend has a sister that may need a little looking after, and she’s heading to Vegas. Get the picture? Now this is not a new storyline, by any means, but Sara Jane Stone is a new author to me, so I was keen to see how her voice would call to me. I had an immediate attachment to Lucia, given her backstory and her resultant fears she was still trying to come to terms with. Sara characterised her beautifully, with care and compassion, as well as giving her a backbone. Cade wasn’t just a beefed up bodyguard. ”Those muscles were like catnip." He recognised Lucia’s underlying fears, and sought to help the brave woman struggling to get out. The fact that he was willing to do anything to help her, including injecting his own agenda, was a joy to watch. They both had issues to work around if they thought their weekend fling would go any further, but it was a pleasure to hitch on this story and see it unfold in Sara Jane’s unique way. I will definitely be seeking out more from this author. ARC provided by Entangled Publishing in exchange for an honest review..

***This ARC was received from Entangled Publishing via Netgalley in exchange for a honest review*** I like how the author showed That people can fight and not actually hate each other when the truth is revealed. I am glad that it brought the sisters back together in the end, going through trauma like that as a young kid you should be with whatever family you have left. Looking forward to more in this series

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review, and here it is: Holy hotness! Sara Jane Stone is a new author for me, and after reading this novel, I think she man have a fan for life. I couldn't put it down until I finished reading it at 4:00 a.m., and it was well worth it. Lucia, our heroine, goes to Las Vegas with a Post-It note containing her fantasies. She's been abused by a former foster father. and left with facial scars. At an exhibit of her paintings, while wearing the required attire, a mask, she meets Navy SEAL, Cade, who is instantly attracted to her. What she doesn't know is that Cade was sent to keep tabs on her by his best friend, her older sister. The relationship between Lucia and Cade is incendiary, and I won't post any spoilers. In addition to the heat--and there's a lot of it, the subplot deals with such issues as self-esteem, looking at yourself and others honestly, and overcoming the obstacles life throws at you. This is one of the hottest, sexiest, and most well-written novels I've read, and Ms. Stone has a a new fan. Do not miss this one!

3.5/5 stars I am always game for a Brazen and I have to say, this one was a fun and extremely sexy read! Sara Jane Stone does not hold back on the sexy times and I have to say I loved how she jumped right into them! I felt for Lucia. She has decided to take a trip to Las Vegas for an exhilarating weekend in Sin City and all that entails. She attends a masquerade ball and plans to find a sexy man to fulfill her list of fantasies. She is approached by Cade Daniels, a sexier than sin Navy SEAL in a tuxedo who is all too willing to participate in her fantasies. However, Cade is there under false pretenses. He has been sent by his best friend, Natalie, who also happens to be Lucia's older sister. Natalie knows of Lucia's weekend plans and wants to make sure she stays out of trouble. However, one look at the beautiful woman who tempts him like no other, and Cade knows he can't let her find some other man to do the things on her list with. He knows it's a betrayal to his best friend, but the more time he spends with Lucia, the more he wants to be the one to show her how beautiful and sexy she is, scars and all. Neither Lucia nor Cade is looking for anything long-term. Cade doesn't believe he is capable of it, being a SEAL and seeing what that did to his family when his father served. Their deployments are long and most marriages and relationships cannot withstand the time and distance. Lucia just wants a weekend of fun and sexy times with a stranger before she returns to her life in Tennessee. She never expected to fall for Cade, but she can't help but relish in the way he makes her feel. He sees past her imperfections and empowers her and I really loved that about him. My one issue with this one was that the relationship felt too rushed. The entire book takes place over the span of a weekend and Cade and Lucia are making declarations of love to one another. I would have preferred to see the more serious aspect of their relationship drawn out a bit more. This is definitely a feel good story, especially considering Lucia's confidence issues. She's real and I'm sure a lot of women can identify with her. Cade is one of those guys that every woman dreams of having- a man who isn't afraid to use his actions and words to show her just how wonderful she is and what she deserves in her life. Overall, while I felt some of it felt rushed, I did find this to be a sexy and fun read!

To Tempt a Seal by Sara Jane Stone is a beautiful story of how circumstances can shape a person's life. Lucia and Cade have been hurt in different ways and are searching for the person to help them heal. They recognize in each other a kindred spirit. Lucia captured my heart with her childlike vulnerability due to events that left her mentally and physically scarred. Scarred, scared and insecure. Despite it all her inner beauty shone through regardless outer flaws. Cade's pain was more hidden but no less acute. As they work through their issues together they start to find acceptance and stability in each other. Received an ARC of this book for an honest review. A sensually satisfying read that will break your heart and have you believing in fairy tales.

Awesome read! Very well written with great characters. Sizzling hot sexy and a wonderful story of a young woman spreading her wings, facing fears, and doing something wonderfully wicked just for herself. After a very rough childhood, Lucia Lewis has scars inside and out. Now she is determined to get past all those with a vacation trip to Vegas. On his way to Vegas to visit family, Cade Daniels is more than happy to look after his best friend's timid and naive sister while she visits Vegas. The woman he finds in Vegas and the woman his friend described are nothing alike. Lucia pulls at his heart like no one else has but is he willing to put it all out there for her? This is one I definitely recommend for everyone!

For the first time in her life, social worker Lucia Lewis is ready to live. And the masquerade ball in Las Vegas is just the place to find a ridiculously hot guy to complete her wicked to-do list. The only rule? Her elegant Venetian mask—which conceals the scars that have always held her back from the life she deserves—stays on. Navy SEAL Cade Daniels heads to Vegas on a mission to keep his best friend's little sister out of trouble. But the moment Lucia's mask slips, the need to heal her, body and soul, is complete and absolute temptation. But revealing himself could cost him the one thing he isn't willing to risk...his heart. Review: A new series and new Author for me and I thought they were great! Lucia is amazing, even-though she has been scarred by a foster father, she is trying to put herself out there and experience life. So she decides to go to Vegas to try and fulfill a naughty to-do list. In Vegas she can hide herself behind a mask and pick up a sexy man to help with the naughty list. What she gets is Cade, who was sent by her sister to keep an eye out on her, but ends up not being able to keep his hands off her. Without giving a ton away, naughty ensues and feelings get wrapped into the fling, then secrets come out and the ___ hits the fan. I have not read anything by this Author before, but I really liked her story-telling. She wrote fun, sexy, vulnerable characters, who I really came to care about and wanted them to work out their issues. She sure can write some steamy, sexy scenes and it was a very hot read going through Lucia's naughty list and then Cade's too. This story had a lot of heart too, Lucia has been scarred both physically and mentally by what her foster father did and I like how Cade is gentle with her and shows her how beautiful she really is. Cade is not without his issues of his own, being from a broken home and not trusting that relationships will work. He has to decide to trust his feelings. The story is fast-paced and interesting to make this a quick, satisfying read. Wonderful story and I see that it is a beginning of a new series, so I cannot wait to see what happens next. 4Stars *Received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for a fair and honest review.*

4.5 - "You like things that explode in your mouth?" Stars! Sara Jane Stone’s writing epitomizes everything that I want to read in a book of this genre. Well developed and engaging story-lines, likeable characters, and plenty of sexy, sexy sex! This isn’t the first book I have read by this author, and it definitely won’t be the last. ”We’ve moved a helluva long way past hello.” Lucia and Cade, accidentally (on purpose) bump into each other in Las Vegas. Lucia is there for one thing, sex, no-strings, and commitment free sex. Cade is there unbeknownst to her, at her sister’s request to ensure she doesn’t make a mistake of epic proportions or end up out of her depth. ”I’m going to hell for this.” What Natalie didn’t figure on is the chemistry that sizzles from Lucia’s first meeting with Cade, and the fact that her best friend has his sights firmly on being the guy that Lucia end up having her weekend of sexy fun with while in Las Vegas. This is one of those books that you pick up, get lost in and don’t really return to reality until you finish the epilogue. I loved Lucia, strong and vulnerable, confident but shy and although she had issues, they felt genuine and not overplayed. ”I’ve been good for a long time… I think I’m ready to be bad.” Cade was the perfect yin to her yang, he talked the talk, but backed it up with the walk as well, also in that he had his own set of issues but they complemented each other in their weaknesses and strengths to give a whole enjoyable and really sexy and emotive read. ”I thought going down under water was a SEAL specialty?” I had high expectations of this book, that’s because I have high expectations of the author and once again, she delivered 100%. I hope we do not have to wait too long for the next Sin City SEALs book, because if To Tempt a SEAL is anything to go by this series is just getting started! ”You can paint my disc magenta if it turns you on.” ARC generously provided by Entangled, and it was my absolute pleasure to provide the above honest review.
