A well written sweet story about a very popular entertainer but whatever happened to that weirdo The Captain. She was so sweet.

Loved the book! My husband I both read your book and he is not a reader. We saw you on the Today show talking about your book so I purchased it as an ebook. Had no idea your life was so unhappy. Understand why you stayed with Daryl but sorry you stayed so long. You have so much life and love in you that should have been shared with someone who knew how lucky they were. Glad you are happy now. Thanks for writing the book. Nick and Marianne

From start to finish, this book held my attention. I loved their music as a child, and sometimes wondered about the Captain and his quiet nature. Having dated people with Asperger's Syndrome, I believe in my heart Daryl Dragon was an aspie, although we will never know, as I don't believe he was ever diagnosed in life. Still, as a person raised in the south and a pleaser, I understood Toni's desire to get through to him and have the kind of intimacy she craved. I feel their publicists did them wrong by announcing their marriage on Valentine's Day. As famous people with an image to uphold, it kind of put them between a rock and a hard place. Very unfair! They should have been a musical act and nothing more. But life happens as it does, and we only see the could have should haves when we get a bit older. All in all, this is a beautiful and fascinating glimpse into the lives of one of the most iconic presences of the 70's. Daryl Dragon and Toni Tennille, thank you for the music!

I was really surprised when I first heard that Toni Tenielle was getting a divorce! I guess we don't know what gies on behind closed doors All these years of watching them on TV I thought The Captain was putting on an act, who knew!! Iwish Toni a happy life and I truly enjoyed her music

A very well written book that provides insight into the road to fame, the hard work required to stay on top in the field of entertainment mixed in with a healthy dose of "all that glitters is not gold". If you were a fan of Captain and Tennille. you will enjoy this book for sure.
