Love, love, love this book! My 3-years olds memorized the text after two readings, and they love to join in on the reading. I love the emotion conveyed through the words and pictures, and that it deals with tough things like death and crying.

My 2 year old got very upset. How I Became a Pirate is much more fun for toddlers.
