About the Author

Ludwig Josef Johann Wittgenstein (1889-1951) was an Austrian philosopher. Born in Vienna to one of the richest families in Austria, Wittgenstein was of Jewish descent but was an atheist. He immigrated to Britain before World War I, escaping Hitler's persecution of the Jews.
