Overview

Train's Clash by Jamie Begley

Beware of what you wish for; it might just come true.

Train swore never to let a woman get under his skin unless it meant forever, and forever only meant belonging to The Last Riders. He had believed his one brief sexual encounter with Killyama was a hit it and quit it. Instead, her green eyes haunted his memories. Then when he tried to convince the woman he was serious as his "more the merrier" lifestyle became a painful reminder of the life he lived, Killyama used his own club against him to keep him from what he wanted.

Killyama was holding out for a man who could offer her forever, and Train wasn't the forever kind of man. He was a Mr. Here and Now; the wicked warrior in her dreams. He might be a walking, talking sex machine, but she needed more than that. So, until he proved she was the only one sharing his bed, the only part of her body he was going to see was her ass walking away.

...so I settled on a four! After reading Train's Clash I actually waited a day to think about what I wanted to say in my review. My initial thought was that I was somewhat disappointed in the story since the editing was not the best (ie. bothers for brothers) , the conversational flow was often difficult to follow, there was an overwhelming multitude of new characters being introduced, and the storyline often became repetitive with Killyama wanting to be with Train and then pulling away. After several hundred pages of her indecision I started to get irritated...especially as Killyama has always been such a strong female character. However, there was a spoiler near the end that knocked me sideways!! So as not to ruin the book for anyone else I won't say more other than it was totally unexpected and a bombshell if you have been a devoted fan of The Last Riders series. Thus, my indecision as to three stars or five stars. Ms. Begley had obviously poured her heart and soul into this book and the characters of Train and Killyama. For that I am very appreciative. However, as someone who has re-read Razer's, Viper's, Knox's, and Shade's stories many, many times...I really wanted Train's to be by new favorite. There is still hope for a new favorite though. It stems from Ms. Begley's big spoiler surprise that totally redeems this book...and I can't wait!!!

sorry I have to disagree with all the 5 star. I think for an author this experienced to charge $6 for a book and have such awful editing. don't get me wrong I'm not the language police and I'm not picky but this was pretty bad. I don't know if a good editor could have fixed the flow it was confusing half the time I didn't know what they were talking about or who was talking. another thing I didn't like and this author does it in her recent books she turned train into a total wimp.loved train but not in this book.

I have NO idea why other reviewers gave this more than a few stars. It was terrible. Like so many other authors, their first few books are really good and then something happens and the series goes in the toilet. What the hell was this book supposed to be? WAY too much cops and robbers stuff and way too little MC stuff. If I wanted to read a bounty hunter book, I would have bought one. Killy's job should have been secondary and coming back from the dead is just a soap opera formula that they've used for years. Can I get a refund??? 350 pages and half were wasted space.

A must read and a great read. Best story. Great twists. An epic love story with Killyama finally finding a man to truly love and accept her as she is. This book was everything that I hoped for and nothing that I expected. Thanks, Jamie Begley. I can't imagine what is going to happen when Rider finally finds his one and only. Plus I really hope that Reaper gets his own book. He deserves it.

This is the best story so far but the editor of this book should be fired! The gramatical errors are numerous and half the time you have no clue which character is speaking.

Love Killyama and wish she was on the cover. The story was a great addition to The Last Riders series.I loved how they showed their gratitude.

Just wow! I have read all these Treepoint books of Ms Begley and I believe this one might be my favorite. I always like the Killyama character. I mean, how can you not love that name. She really shines in her own book and shows that there are many layers to the brash, ball busting woman she portrays. We learn more about train as he always seemed kind of a peripheral character. Not here though; his character came flying off the pages. I was so glad he had so much depth. Killyama and Train's road is not easy, but it is at times funny, heartwarming and soul wrenching. Yeah, I'm gonna go with this one being my favorite after all.
