Treasure of the Iguana

Eleven-year-old Simone Jurgens would have been happy curled up in the big, flowered easy chair in their Caribbean resort bungalow with her favorite detective book. Instead, she finds herself drawn into the intrigue of pirate lore, buried treasure, and shipwreck, where she must make grown-up decisions if she and her blind brother, Stephen, are to survive.
