This book is dedicated to my grandchildren: Am’yah, Zamarion, Aven, Az’riyah, and AriYanna. The story is about a prominent African American family living in a small town called Hillis Hill, Georgia. Hillis Hill is a small rural town about twenty miles outside of Columbus, Georgia. Although this story is set in the 1800s, there is no concept of slavery.
